Urban Hotel Aix-les-Bains, BW Signature Collection

The location was beautiful with everything we wanted a short walk away

I had hoped the "spa" would be local thermal waters. Instead it was simply a heated pool and warm hot tub. Very clean and lovely, but nothing different than one might find anywhere.

Great location , very handy for the town. Private underground parking for the motorbike and great aircon in the room. Rooms very clean, bit noisy at night...but to be fair, that wasnt the room...but the guys racing their car up the main road at 1am. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Booked 2 rooms and one was not ready at check-in (3pm) we were 5 in a triple room (rooms ate not spacious), went to dinner at 19h and it was still not ready! No apologies, no compensation, etc. The staff at the reception were friendly but gave the impression that they were not well trained (i.e. let me ask my colleague, let me check upstairs if the room is ready, I'm only an intern here my colleague will help, etc).We had the key room after coming back from dinner (around 10pm)...not acceptable!

Good location and good parking

Elevator was being replaced and this was messy and noisy. I do not like my name to come up in the reviews.

It was open - when most hotels were having holidays.The decoration and organisation of the room was nice.

There where some dust under the bed and the elevator for guests was being under renovation.

Great location for Aix centre. Great bathroom and massive comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Pool / spa busy. Stair / lift area very utility. Are 2020 renovations still ongoing ? ££££££.

We had a suite. There was always an issue with a key that did not work and every single time one of us (there were 5 of us) went downstairs to change the keycard, all of the other keys stopped working. The receptionists did not know (ANY OF THEM) that they automaticaly cancelled all existing keys. I learned about that when leaving.On Sunday morning around 8 am someone was repearing something with a drill, it was horribly noisy. They did not even ask us, how happy we were with our stay.... so we had no chance to tell them.

Very disappointed. Unhelpful staff, battered and worn building, walls very thin. Steam room (Hamman) not working, etc, etc. A very unpleasant experience.

Wallpaper in room meant to look like rivets in cement blocks ? Urban Chic but really just looks like bullet markings in a war tore environment- disconcerting and ugly.Shower curtain - horrible and floor still gets wet and slippery.Spa facilities are not great and robes are hard, itchy and uncomfortable.

Pool was great and location, very close from the centre of the town

Room a bit small and bathroom sliding doors not ideal for privacy when traveling with family.

The bedroom was really nice, very good size bed, quiet, nice bathroom but the shower was a bit slippery. Love the decor. I like the toilet was separated from the shower. I enjoyed the pool and facilities. There is an underground parking which is usefulGood location from the city center, just a 5mn walk.

There is no bar, but the staff said there will be one someday

Jacuzzi not working this morning - unable to report this from the Spa.Steam room not great.No fridge in room to keep water cool - expected this at these prices.Drunken woman shouting in corridor at 2am - where was security??

Rooms are large , plenty of parking , in a central location and a very good swimming pool

A very big negative , there is no door or any form of screening on the toilet

The hotel is located in the heart of Aix-les-Bains so location was ideal. The underground parking lot is convenient as difficult to find parking elsewhere nearby the hotel. Hotel entry via the garage is convenient.

I especially didn’t like the fact that the one single elevator is shared with the hotel guests that are enjoying the wellness and swimming downstairs and they are the first you come across to with all your luggage… hotel guests in bathing robes and a very strong chlorine smell all through the corridors and elevator. The breakfast works in shifts, but the staff, although trying their best, cannot keep up with the pace: no cups to poor coffee in, no fruit salad anymore, …Reception staff very cool attitude and speaking way too fast for foreign travellers.

Timeslotted breakfast is very annoying and seems like a remnant of Covid-19 safety precautions that they have forgotten to remove. Adds unnecessary stress to the stay.

The closeness of the hotel to the city Centre.

The room was not clean and there were no wifi in my room. I claimed that and they have changed my room the next say, so packing again. The team were rude and not helpful. I dont recommend it at all.
