    Pros +

    • The room was large and clean but a bit cold. We stayed in this hotel also a week before where we also felt that it was a bit on the uncomfortable cold side. Breakfast is great but at the first stay there was a greater variety. We loved the parklike setting and it was great for our dog to run after a five hour car ride.
    • Very comfortable and quiet room.
    • The staff were so helpful. My room was fantastic and so comfortable. There are 3 restaurants within the domain and the one I went to the hotel book for me, and it is a 3-minute walk from the hotel I was staying in. All the staff in the restaurant were so accomadating and the atmosphere was just so relaxing after a long drive. Buffet breakfast at the Ibis in the morning was fonomable, spoiled for choice. Secure parking, which is a must for anyone traveling. It was a 15-minute walk into the center of Aix les Bains, which is a positively a bubbly town. I will be back. ????????

    Cons -

    • Rooms are not enough heated at both of our stays.
    • A bit far out of town for us. Restaurant was in another hotel and not many food options.
    • There is nothing I didn't like Absolutely loved it.100%

Hotel was just plain and clean. Nothing exceptional for the price

Staff, extremely rude and unhelpful. The worst I've ever encountered . Nothing was answered with a smile or none of the staff at reception were in anyways helpful. 7 of us stayed and each of us has the worst experience with these receptionists.

My grandchildren were happy with the swimming pool.

I was flabergasted to find out that the guests should wash their own dishes! There were two plates, 1 glass and a few bits of cutlery that were in the sink for 4 days. The sink was never cleaned because there was crockery in it! There was no washing up liquid and nothing to wash the dishes with nor a dish towel to dry them! I've never been in a hotel and expected to wash my own dishes! My sheets had never been changed in 4 days! The carpet was not hoovered and the floor was never washed in that time! The sink in the bathroom and the shower room was not cleaned. There was a collection of filth at the bottom of the shower and the tiles hadn't been washed down in a very long time. The toilet was maybe 18 inches from the wall in front of me and had 'brown stains' on it .... disgusting! There were toothpaste stains on the wall at the sink and the filter was BLACK! The towels were so worn out it was like using sand paper to dry myself and the so called 'bath towel' wouldn't fit around my size 10 body. It must have been like a hand towel for the larger body. The exact same was experienced in my son's room. The headboard on the bed was in the same state as the rest of the room. The doors hadn't been washed in a long time and the balcony had never been cleaned in months .... if not longer. The breakfast was as poor as the rooms. I was told there was no orange juice, nor much in the way of bread and the croissants were finished. My granddaughter asked for the strawberry concentrate for the yogurt and was told it was finished and wouldn't be on offer for the next two months. Why?After 4 days of NON CLEANING I asked the Manageress to come to my room and pointed out my upset within the rooms. She said she would get back to me after talking with the cleaning staff .... she never got back to me. Very disrespectful! The young receptionist asked if I was now happy. To say I was upset was an understatement!

The hotel itself was fine. A few weeds and the breakfast terrace needs a bath but otherwise good. Car felt safe and rooms were clean.

The unclear explanation of the facilities upon check in. Very disappointing. An arguable overpriced stay without the amenities.

Beautiful location, helpful staff and great big room

The bed was big but the mattress too soft.

We only stayed one night as a stop over on our way south and hotel was easy to find and only seemed a short walk into the main town. Hotel, rooms and grounds very well kept and clean. We arrived on a Sunday so restaurant in adjacent hotel was closed but there is an excellent food truck in the garden area which served a basic but good menu as well as drinks, all set in the lovely garden. Good breakfast selection in the morning. Nice staff also. Free coffee and tea available in reception area for guests.

An on site restaurant would be welcome especially after a long journey, there is certainly space for one. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be nice, this maybe just a British thing, but we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Perfect for one night stop if you are on the way to your destination. Breakfast included and restaurant. They love dogs:)

Room was very spacious and clean.

Bad communication with the staff, only one person spoke perfect english - comparing to others. They have closed the pool and gym arrea without notfying us. We felt really disappointed because this was the only reason why we chose this hotel comparing to others nearby. If you are looking for a better breakfast and more richer breakfast, this is probbably not the place for you.

The hotel is good and great location despite bit away from the town center.

Unfortunately the access door to the room system is not working well and we came to reception to fix couple of times as the door didn't open. In the bar the beer machine is not working as it stopped half the glass. So bit disappinment, however, the staffs were good and they offered tinned beer as a replacement

    Very good

It was written that there is a swimming pool in the hotel but there was none. Or there was one in neighbouring hotel and we had to pay.

Big hotel with lots of parking, next to a wooded area to walk in, but only a 20-25 minute walk into the centre. Friendly helpful staff and decent room size.

    All good
