we were so wonderfully surprised by the appointments and touches throughout the property - it is a beautiful building, our room (#5) was spacious and the location to the heart of town was fantastic - huge thanks to the very welcoming staff - while breakfast is additional, it is beautifully presented in an intimate dining salon or on the terrace - parking was close by in a garage (also extra €) but made more convenient by the discounted entry\exit card that the hotel provides - finally, they are SO dog friendly - our sweet golden was treated with love and treats, so she gives it five paws - and we give it five stars - book it

by no fault of the hotel, construction was happening across the street - in fact. much of aix les bains was in major renovation.

Very cosy rooms, decorated with taste and very calm, while very close to downtown an therms.

Absolutely beautiiful hotel and our room was super comfortable. Large, with a wonderful big bed. I loved the deep bath tub and high quality toiletries. The location is good too, close to the shops and restaurants.

The breakfast was a little underwhelming, I was expecting some more options.

The hotel is beautiful. The room was very comfortable and quiet. There's a beautiful terrace to enjoy a drink. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating.

Nice boutique hotel for a short stay, rooms of good size and very well equipped. Good shower, good bed, nothing left to wish for.

Unpleasantly strong smell from the „fragrant sticks“ in the room and corridor — needed to dispose of them.

Room was very spacious ,a very comfortable bed we sat outside for breakfast which was great ,the parking is nearby in multi story carpark quite safe.

Beautifully decorated and smelled wonderful! Perfect location for town and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. They recommended things to do, places to go, restaurants we never would have found, made reservations for us. Had a wonderful breakfast on the terrace. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Not enough good things to be said!!!

An interesting and tasteful renovation of an old building

The small number of rooms meant that the availability of concierge service was poor. Check-in was listed as 4pm, but we didn't realise that no-one would be there before then. We could not leave our luggage or go to the reserved parking space. We therefore had to park elsewhere and go back to the hotel after 4pm. A poor start to our stay.Also one of the curtains in our room was missing, meaning an early morning wake-up.

A jewel! It‘s an awesome place. Everything was lovely -the staff, the well designed cosy room, the breakfast, the small details (e.g. the different good night sweets, the nuxe skin care products). Merci! We highly recommend this gem!

Clean, nicely furnished, comfortable room, good shower, nice breakfast.

Four flights of stairs to our room and no lift. Complicated check-in system wouldn’t accept our debit card so had to use a credit card thereby incurring extra charges. And somehow the cost of the room ended up more than we had originally signed up for, so the room, and the breakfast, were not as good value as we would have liked.

Very clean, staff is very helpful and polite! The location while very central is very quiet! Highly recommended.

There’s no elevator, so if you’ve got luggage just brace yourself for some workout. Other than that everything was perfect.

Excellent breakfast, maybe a little pricey but fresh and quality products. Location is just perfect close to most restaurants, the Valvital thermes and many other things to do in the city center. Au Lac room was very spacious and well furnished, with beautiful terrace. Public parking optional (with private car place and pass for the hotel residents) which is a luxury in city center. Very helpful and kind staff (ask Maud for restaurant suggestions !), Would definitely recommend this place !

Nothing big... maybe just no lift available, for us was no issue but consider it when packing your suitcase ;) Bed comfort was ok but too soft for us
