    Pros +

    • The pool and spa were very nice to have. The man at the reception was very helpful when we needed to change our room and he recommendation a few very good restaurants.
    • Passable
    • Eco values excellent. The food in the restaurant was superb, great value for money.

    Cons -

    • The gym could have been more complete and welcoming. They could have had towels at the pool . More fresh fruit at breakfast would have been nice.
    • Not well taken care of in terms of restauration. The carpet seemed to me to be decades of age. Main colors including the walls were of depressing dark grey and brown. Added to this, the light in the hallways was quite dim, so I cannot testify to its cleanliness. There was no obvious dirt, but the smell of the pool. It penetrated the entire hotel, even all the way up to the restaurant door on the topmost third floor. The staircases are shabby. I booked this place because I wanted to sit in the sun overlooking the lake as the pictures suggested. However the restaurant was not only closed on Sunday, but also I was not allowed to enter for a afternoon coffee. If open, however, this view is stunning - if one does not mind the sun shade of the flapping noice of the textile terrasse ceiling/shade which is in dire need of repair.
    • Hotel hard to find, signage needs to be better..The electrics not consistent, the room kettle did not work..

    Location, breakfast view, nice stuff!

Very dirty…. No slippers?! Ok, you don’t give it to clients, but at least sell them! Moquette is the most dirty thing ever in hotels.

Nothing, exept location and restaurant. 1. Air conditioning. The worst thing that ruined our holiday was the broken air conditioning. On the first day in the room of my elderly parents it worked until evening, but in my room it only weakly emitted warm air. With temperatures as high as +33/+34 C° it was +30 in the room. The receptionists did not give any comment on the date to fix the air conditioner. The hotel manager, whom I met on 06.08.2024 Mr. Cesgelin mumbled something incomprehensible about the possiple date of repair, did not introduce himself (I had to ask his name), did not sit down, behaved extremely unprofessional and unfriendly. I suggested him to at least buy some ventilators. He and one of the receptionists in response to our complaints about the extreme heat in the room suggested that we just leave. Needless to say, it was impossible to find a decent hotel close to the lake at the high season. Please imagine that in industrial France for 12 days the filter for air conditioner was not replaced before our departure! Thanks to Booking.com we got a discount, but the holiday was disastrous as we had to sleep with the air conditioner constantly working and at night with the balcony door open and suffered from insect bites and noise from the street. Announcement about breaking the AC appeared at the reception desk on the 4th or 5th day of our stay in the hotel. 2. Many receptionists did not speak English well, and one spa worker who replaced the receptionist for a few days did not speak English at all. We had to use an electronic translator or the assistance of other hotel guests, who spoke English. One of the hotel staff was simply rude and stated that she had no solution for our problem when we reported that the air conditioning was not working andadded that we could leave at any time. She also refused to give us a room thermometer.

    3. Cleaning and accomodations. Mould in the shower caused squeamishness; taps after the so-called cleaning were all in stains, sink and toilet drain dirty, in the toilet there was a stale smell of urine stone. Carpeting in my room for 12 days of stay was not vacuumed once; dirty towels were not cleaned, new ones were added. The balcony was not cleaned once, the table on the balcony was covered in dust. The sockets and the telephone were also all dysty. The worst thing is that despite 4 of my reminders for 12 days not once (sic!) in my room did not change the bed linen. When I once came into the room after the beach, the curtains, saving from the sun, were often pulled apart, the room was unbearably hot, because the cleaning lady left the balcony door open. 4. Two sockets in my room 106 did not work. 5. The telephone in the whole hotel between the rooms and the reception does not function: iit' impossible tp get through to reception or the ambulance, which makes the stay in that hotel unsafe. We have informed the receptionist of this shortcoming several times, but apparently they feel more comfortable without any phone calls.6. Pool: totally unsafe entry to the pool and jacuzzi: no handrails. The shower is at the entrance; no shoes, not even rubber ones, are allowed in the pool. At the same time it is very slippery to walk barefoot. 7. Breakfast. Not bad, but absolutely not varied. There are sparrows flying around the restaurant hall, which land on your table and grab bread and rolls.8. The hallways and lifts are incredibly stuffy and hot. The reception, bar and pool were more or less air conditioned. 9. Internet: There is no Internet in the hotel. I had to use my phone as a modem to work remotely and participate in Zoom meetings. The promised Internet cost me an additional 3 purchases of tarffic volume in the amount of 35€.Do change the hoteл manager, hire decent service and cleaning staff, change and repair the equipment!

We have stayed here 3 times over the years and the staff are excellent could not be more friendly or helpful best thing about the hotel. Balcony rooms have a lovely view of the lake and lots of free parking and a few minutes stroll to the lake and restaurants

Room was very tired shower head to heavy for holder or just needs tightening. We had a massive crack in the tiles covering at least 3 of them. The tap handle came off in my hand a few times. Safe was not working. Restaurant was closed on a Sunday and it rained so all the lakeside restaurants closed as well as we did not want to drive in to town we were stuck. Only got half a toilet roll as well the end was folded over so staff had fitted it but not replaced it which I have never seen before. No milk for the tea or herbal tea selection. Came away disappointed will not be going back.

    Location was superb.

AC wasn’t functioning in my room and all sorts of excesses were given to me. But I was sweating in the room. At breakfast in the breakfast room- birds were having a field day! No one seemed to bother that birds were pecking on the bread continuously. I was not comfortable at all. Complained to the management.

There was a lot of english spoken films and shows on during the evenings which was a pleasant surprise for us

if you arrived after 9.00 the majority of the hot food was gone. the majority evenings the restaurant was fully booked because of either porche clubs or courses staying at the hotel so we had to go out and look for another venue

    7GretaPosted on: 6-20-2024

The room was big with large cupboards and desk as well as terrace with chairs and table. A separate toilet is nice. A big private parking near the hotel is also plus. breakfast was nice.

The room needs some technical updates, on ventilation mainly in toilet and bathroom. Also some lighting did not work.

The location is very beautiful and calm. Great value for money.

The checkin staff could be more friendly. The room wasn’t very clean i. e. There was a big hair on my bed.

    Good location. Breakfast was good

Swimming pool was poorly lit - lights not working

    9JosephPosted on: 9-5-2023

Quirky design. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant. Good parking.

    Slightly confusing internal layout

    6JessiePosted on: 9-4-2023

Location perfect to enjoy activities around the lake.

It lacks a lot of maintenance. We booked the most expensive suite available for our stay. For example, door stopper has been detached, shower rack has been broken and never replaced. Shower head is faulty, bathtub has chipped corners, swimming pool tiles are coming out. And it lack of personnel to clean the entire pool. Always wet and full of water stains. Many little things are seen as no repairs done. When there is this level of charges things should be perfect. But it seems that there is lack of care to everything in the hotel.
