Pros +
- The family running the place was nice and our host was very enthusiastic, offering us plenty of places to go hiking. It's close to the World Peace Stupa and plenty of cafes but they all close before dinner time.
- Spotlessly tidy, with incredible views and a lovely garden. We could park our car on premise. The place is far enough from Pokhara not to be bothered by its bustle, yet close enough to reach it when needed. The people working here are genuinely committed to ensure that any of your needs are catered for.
- Felt like home, you can relax in the garden with the monkeys . Chill in the shade on hot days, always good breeze and noticeable cooler than Pokhara city or lakeside. Food was Fantastic ….. owner very helpful and not pushy at all, like many can be travelling Nepal . And of course Darshan , the young worker . Very helpfull man, very attentive and deserves
Cons -
- During the night's heavy rain storm the roof leaked and water dripped onto one of the two beds, fortunately not the one we were sleeping in but it soaked my trousers that I'd laid on the bed. We ordered the simple breakfast that included an option for pancakes, which my wife requested, but we were told the simple breakfast doesn't include pancakes. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise. We were told the road outside the hotel was paved a couple of years ago and (so) now there's a lot of traffic, including buses. As if that wasn't bad enough, there was also construction going on next door. We had to close the windows to reduce the noise but there's no A/C so the rooms get hot during the day with the windows closed.
- Get like home, garden, food, staff, tv , internet good and peacefull at night
- feel a bit lack of privacy by the way the staff knock on our door (sometimes we are taking a nap). Would be nice if there could be a do not disturb sign on the door. A bit surprised when the owner asked for an extra 700 rupees service fee during check out. Not a lot of money but wish they could be a bit more upfront about it from the beginning.

The place is wonderfully located on a hilltop with a stunning view on Annapurna range even from your bed.At night time, it is super qiuet and you can enjoy the sound of the jungle.Spotless.Friendly personell.Tasty meals.10 minutes walking from the Peace Pagoda from which you can reach Lakeside in about 1h descending track.Highly recommended.
The staff and owner are kind. The location is quiet in the night. Good and clean room.

Extremely well-connected. They connected us with a great, low-cost trekking guide and went on a spur-of-the-moment week Annapurna trek before coming back to celebrate Christmas. The mountain view from the room was amazing, and the gardens were very nice. A wonderful place to stay for short and long periods.
Hard to get a hot shower. Sound of tourist busses on the nearby road through the day.
Location and view is great. Room is very cozy and clean.
In the daytime many bus and motorcycle pass so not so quite but night time it is not disturbed
Book this hotel for a tranquil stay away from the hustle and bustle! Such a nice retreat with mountain views, beautiful garden, great home cooked food and the rooms were the best i'd stayed in Nepal, quality linen and comfortable beds! The panoramic view of the mountains from bed is incredible!
It was a little cloudy so the solar heating didn't totally warm up one day but the owner said there was a space with warm water (I just had a cold one!)
If you’re looking for a slice of paradise in a serene setting, Hotel Siddhartha Garden Ayurveda is it. Nestled in a peaceful spot with breathtaking views of the majestic mountains and the Shiva statue, this place feels like home the moment you walk in. My room was cozy and clean, with a bed so comfortable it guarantees a restful sleep. The well-kept bathroom adds to the overall comfort. The garden is a hidden gem—a perfect retreat to relax, sip tea, read, or enjoy a fresh, delicious meal. Speaking of food, it is fresh, flavorful, and sure to comfort after a long trek. But what makes this stay unforgettable is the host, Ishwor. Warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, he treats guests like family. From helping plan my trek itinerary to personally dropping me off at departure points, his hospitality is unmatched.Whether for a short getaway or an extended stay, this place is a dream. Don’t hesitate—book your stay here; you won’t regret it!
Beautiful Annapurna view, location- view point and busstop on the other side of road, close to Peace Pagoda, very clean room, nice and helpful owner, peace and quiet.
Room cleanliness and size were excellent. Had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was great too as was any other food and drink i had, some of which grown on site. Owner and close family friendly and helpful, with transfers, flight booking assistance.
Bathroom had no hot water as solar and cloudy. Toilet seat not fixed and bathroom light flashing. Unfortunately there was no Ayurveda available anymore at the property for a number of years, which was a shame. I understand it is difficult to change a hotel name but Ayurveda, yoga and massage were some of the main reasons i booked. In hindsight, location was a lot further from Pokhara lakeside than expected.
Beautiful location with views out into the valley and the mountains behind (even though it was cloudy when I stayed). The food is so so delicious and all freshly cooked. Free filtered water is available and the owners and family are just so friendly and welcoming.
Our favorites: Waking up to see the incredible !! views of the Mountains from this great location. The closeness to cultural sites , quiet nights. The food was so delicious!! & our host family was so , so kind, helpful & hospitable. (Make sure to ask for airport shuttle -we had forgotten & paid both ways. )
the people are so kind and attentive, location is very beautiful. it is a place where you can rest and digest but also to explore the area!
Breakfast and meals were delicious! Staff was extremely helpful and welcoming! Hot water and comfortable bed and pillows.Great views if weather is clear, otherwise enjoy the fog and soaring birds
There were some ants in the room and there is traffic noise from the road if you are sensitive
Excellent small hotel at a beautiful location on the hills, close enough to Pokhara, but far enough to offer a peaceful atmosphere and an incredible view (weather permitting). The family who run the hotel are very kind, helpful and lovely. The food is totaly tasty and good quality.
The best night sleep I’ve had in Nepal as no barking dogs or roosters crowing constantly. Bit isolated yet incredible views over the city & lake nearby plus mt views when clear. Friendly service & great breakfast. Ideal place to get over hellish road journeys.
Great value for money in great location. In-house restaurant serves lovely food. Owner super friendly and caring with great conversations at dinner time.
STAFF: The family and staff is what made my stay so memorable. Ishwor was already waiting for me at the tourist bus stop in Pokhara when I arrived, without me having asked for it! When I said I wanted to stretch my legs a bit first, he dropped me off close to the lake side and we agreed to meet 1,5 hours later. We then drove up to his place together. Ishwor knows the area very well and has great ideas for hiking with or without him. His daugther Susmita and the whole staff were so friendly and helpful throughout, that I really felt welcome and supported! Thank you!BREAKFAST: I had pancakes, fruit and tea almost every time. I liked the pancakes so much that I asked to be shown how they are made. Mairani was so kind as to oblige me and showed me the whole process in the kitchen.LOCATION: I decided on Siddhartha while already in the bus to Pokhara from Kathmandu. I wanted to stay out of the busy center and was considering options north of town along the lake side. I'm very glad I did't book there and chose Siddhartha Garden on the hill above town with an incredible view even from my room and the possibility of taking beautiful hikes right out the door.HIKING: Hiking to Pokhara through the hillside jungle takes a little over an hour passing the Peace Pagoda and is a beautifully quite experience. Occasionally seeing the town through the treas on the way down. Also, walking in a northerly direction instead to cross the river delta and then back south to Pokhara was also an very worthwile experience! This was a nice day hike.
stay on the mountain without air pollution close to World peace pagoda ,good place to get exercise with hiking up and down about 3-5 kms to Pokhara city on the road or on the jungle trail ,tasty and quality breakfast ,near the starting point to Lake side and pagoda ,many birds singing in the morning, good location to see nice view of Annapurna range and Pewa Lake
the taxi cost is rather expensive but if you can bargain 500 nrp up or down to / from Pokhara city will be nice
