Le Splendid Hotel Annecy

Great location!

It¿s very central so there¿s a¿plenty of traffic noise. Also, we booked a room facing the lake but the lake was not visible.

The hotel was centrally located

The AC did not work! We went down to the front desk 3x during the night. Their solution was to hand us a fan. In the morning when we checked out, the front desk day time staff checked and it turned out that the AC had not been turned on!!

Very friendly staff and good breakfast.

No parking, we were told to use public car park 5 minutes away. Not even a space available outside the hotel to pick up my wife and our bags because they were being used by contractors. No soap in bathroom. Bed linen very synthetic.

Fantastic location right in the middle of the pedestrian zone — everything is just a short walk away. There is a city hall parking garage about 3 minutes from the hotel, and the hotel covers the parking cost, which is a big plus. Very convenient for exploring Annecy on foot.

The shower leaks and there is no door or proper barrier, so water spreads across the bathroom floor and it becomes slippery. Wi-Fi was also quite slow.

Excellent Location close to very nice walks around lake and parks as well as shops, bars etc. Can’t beat this location

It was a good location but not a lake view.

Booked a lakeside room but didn’t have a lake view due to trees. It was also not really on the lake…quite a distance to see it. Should not be charged more for this.

The breakfast was wonderful, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. As were the front desk staff except for one older man who checked me in and gave me the wrong room - a smaller than I booked

I booked a much larger room than I was given and the hotel would not acknowledge this

Short stay over in Annecy on our way home - such a lovely hotel a d perfectly located by the lake. Easy access to transport. Bedrooms nice and breakfast and coffee good

The property was well located in the centre of Annecy. The hotel offers room service which is a plus.

The locking system of the bathtub was not working perfectly and there was a leak on the bathroom. The room service system was not well explained and that created a misunderstanding when we wanted to order breakfast in our bedroom. Hopefully a member of the staff kindly informed us how to order our breakfast accordingly and there were no issues later.

Nice location in old town. Right on the water. Friendly staff and very good rooms.

No parking at the hotel but they direct you to alternative parking.

Nice room with a balcony. Overseeing the canal. Right beside the Christmas Market if you are visiting during the season.
