Great clean room and nice staff

We found the room very small and dark there was a wall with some windows that were directly overlooked so a solid curtain covered the whole wall which was quite clostrophobic The noise from the street below was constant through the night so the windows could not be left open The rate was very expensive for the standard of room and the only facility was a bar area that was only available ftom 6pm Overall I would not recommend the hotel I can only assume , as it has happened before, when you reserve through bookings.com you are allocated a sub standard room

It was quite difficult to navigate the car through the one-way street maze, but very helpful directions from the staff saved the day.

The hotel has a really good location, very friendly staff, and they also offer a garage in the hotel for good price. We enjoyed our stay here.

The location was excellent.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Matilda (Mathilde ?) gave us very good and accurate restaurant recommendations.Room was quiet and comfortable.Driving there was tricky because they have changed the road one way directions recently but Google maps haven't updated it yet

Great room - very large with access to an outside deck. Close to everything (great cafe next door!) and the staff were really friendly. Would recommend this hotel for it's location. It was close to all the attractions, without the crowds. It's close to several shops were you can rent bikes - highly recommend biking around the lake.

Central location. Recently renovated modern and fresh. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Breakfast was extensive continental style.

Onsite carpark is a plus however extremely tight entrance even for medium car. Had to fold in mirrors to get in.

Great location near the railway station and on the edge of the old town. Plenty of cafes and restaurants close by with an excellent breakfast option next door at the kiwi inspired Slake Cafe.We upgraded to a larger room in the hotel which was spacious and comfortable. The bed was good, there was an opening door and window to a balcony, so plenty of fresh air at night time. Bed and bath linens were good quality and the room had adequate storage and was well designed.

Our room was by the lift and the noise was really annoying till late evening,& starting early morning about 6am.The pillows were the most uncomfortable,just lumps of foam.there were six pillows in our room,all of them uncomfortable.The room looked over a the back of a block of flats just metres away,lacking privacy and ambience.Paper cups to drink tea/coffee from was very poor given this hotel is meant to be 4 star.Basically it was like an Ibis but with posh soap & shower gel!

Location superb. Air con great. Receptionists helpful and friendly. Cleaning staff helpful and friendly. Very quiet hotel. Very clean. Straightforward check I and check out. Would definitely stay here again if visiting.

The staff was polite and helpful, but I think the hotel should improve its cleanliness standards, update the bedding, and offer better value for money.

The bedsheets had some small stains, one of the towels had larger stains, and the pillows were quite old and lumpy, which made them uncomfortable. The room itself was rather basic, without amenities like a coffee machine/espresso maker, and it felt expensive for the level of comfort and facilities provided.
