    • Location. Breakfast. Friendly staff
    • location and confortable bed
    • Comfortable room. Lovely staff. Excellent location

    Cons -

    • Rooms a bit smaller than we thought. Husband is tall. Did not know we had to carry our luggage up one flight of narrow, winding stairs. But it was ok for one night's stay.
    • corridors, elevator, forgeting changing towels and making bed between the two nights
    • It has an elevator. They offered us umbrellas during rainy weather. The separate toilette room. It felt safe and secure. The windows opened. The bed was comfy. Lots of shopping and eateries in the immediate area.

The location was excellent, it’s situated in the heart of the old town. Wonderful!

Everything was perfect. The hotel’s location, room, and cleanliness were truly excellent. Ms. Salma at the reception was very helpful and friendly. She arranged a wonderful room for us. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, couldn’t be better. Large room and very comfortable.

The one small thing was that we walked past the entrance twice looking for a hotel entrance and it wasn’t obvious at all. Make a large sign and explain to incoming guests that there isn’t a tradition entrance into a hotel reception.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and gave excellent recommendations for dinner. This is how I like European hotels: weird shaped interiors, elevators that don't hit every floor, and uneven floors. It's how you know you are in the middle of a Medieval city.

My son and I were travelling together. We arrived early, having walked through a January rain. I was hoping to have the hotel store our luggage, but they said the room was ready and invited us in! The location can not be beat! We had a superb time exploring the area and visiting Annecy Chateau. I would love to revisit this gem of a city and gem of a hotel again.

The remote was missing from the room but was quickly resolved.

Great location, welcoming man at reception. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful there. Room was a good size and having a small fridge with complementary bottled water was a nice touch.Quiet even though a central location, but this is January!

No reception on ground floor, it is on the first floor with only a tiny lift access. Not a welcoming feel. The rooms were too hot, even with the radiators turned down or off. The wifi was very slow. There is no shower curtain so water sprays all over the floor. Tap on the washbasin was very difficult to operate. When we last stayed here in 2018 it was a good traditional French hotel with character. Now it has been modernised and is a bland hotel just like any other. ☹️.

    Location was optimal.

I didn't get the view I selected and paid for, only partially.

Excellent location. Parc at Hotel de Ville and walk.

Initial check in. Guy was kind of snarky. Arrived at 2, left bags in lobby and enjoyed Annecy. Other Hotel crew: Amber and others are AMAZING.

Perfect location, right amongst the restaurants and shops. Also near the train station and lake.

    Every thing was great

    8DavidPosted on: 1-19-2026

Location was excellent. Parking is tricky in busy periods in public car parking but is inexpensive and the hotel has vouchers to subsidise it which helps. Breakfast is great and staff very friendly.

Quaint building well located near the lake in the old quarter. Very comfortable bed and room.

Facilities were limited. Rooms extremely small and despite being warm and comfortable felt cramped. As a couple more than one day would be very uncomfortable.

The breakfast buffet is not rich, generous, or varied. The same program and quality every other day.

The bed, the space room and the location.

The elevator, the toilet far from the washbin, the only hotel i reserved all these years that i have been travelling and just messaged me the night before the arrival that there was a problem with my card. There was something written on the paper instruction in the room that was incorrect, i had to phone the receptionist, but she only spoke to me in french,i cound not understand her that i changed back on my attire just to talk to her personally at the reception area.

Accommodation right in the city center, dinner at Dip Honest Food was excellent, the Christmas markets, and coffee at Haven Coffee. Annecy is a beautiful city.
