Hotel Du Lac Locarno

Excellent location. Fair price for the room booked. Loved our balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. Comfortable bed and adequate bathroom facilities.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating, very proactive. The cleanliness is perfect, no notes.Location, can't get any more central than this. Breakfast was varied and tasty, extra points for good coffee.

The room was a bit small and the bed a bit short for a tall person. The price was a bit steep but it must have been dictated by high demand and location.

The hotel was well located and central to ferry, shops, everything. Very lovely terrace on first floor.

The room and the shower cabinet are quite small. But not a big problem.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The receptionist during our check-in was very respectful and friendly. The lady during the breakfast hour was very efficient, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful, wide range of options and fresh. The cleaning staff were very thoughtful, they even folded our children's nighties. The location of the hotel is perfect, right near all the main attractions. We recommend the hotel to everyone. We would like to visit again next time. ??

The sink in the bathroom is kind of small. You have to bend down in awkward position to wash your face. ?

Big concert BLASTING horrible thumping music right outside our balcony 7pm-1am every night - no warning no options to move or cancel - will stay in a different town next time - disappointing!

Perfect location, kind staff and nice spacious comfortable rooms.

The early morning cleaning in the neighboring rooms was way too loud and very early in the morning.

Very clean room and comfortable bed. Had all the necessary basics, including an appreciated coffee machine.

Closed windows let all sound through and curtains let all streetlight in.

The bedroom and bathroom are really nicely designed and feel large. Whilst there is no on-site parking, there is a public carpark nearby.The breakfast was quite acceptable.The hotel is not on the lake as its name implies. It's only a short walk from the lake but I don't think any rooms have a view of the lake. As we were there only for one night, this didn't worry us as it was close to a few things, including the lake.

Unfortunately, we had a room facing a pedestrian area and it was very noisy at night with teenagers being over boisterous, so it was a bit difficult to get to sleep initially. Ask for a room on the other side to avoid this.

Great central location. Easy 5 minute walk from the train station to Hotel near the lake. Spotlessly clean room which overlooked the lake. Good value for money.
