Good location for not being by the lake. Handy to train station.

Hard somewhat uncomfortable bed. Hotel is hooked up (maybe same owners?) with a restaurant a number of blocks away. I wouldn’t recommend eating there. As far as price, now I know how Canadians must feel when they come to the states and face a bad exchange rate.

The location was excellent, so was the view from the room. We loved the breakfast.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Really wonderful professional staff at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome as a hotel guest. The gentleman was very patient and understanding of my broken Italian (but he spoke great English as well). I had requested in advance a room at the back of the hotel away from the elevators (very light sleeper) and the staff definitely accommodated my request. I ended up spending a very, very restful night and that counts for everything for me. Grazie mille Hotel Muralto! I hope to be back next year.

The room itself was spotless; so kudos to the cleaning staff. But the rooms could use some updating. But I can certainly understand that this could be a very costly endeavour; so this was not a huge factor for me.

Room - different than booked - public stairs were right after our window - it was inconvenient. If our stay would be longer, we would change the room or hotel.

The wifi was unstable. Did not work hence had to switch to mobile network. The fridge was not cold.

Location perfect just by the railway station the room was perfect with the balcony and excellent view and the staff were very pleasant and helpful

Everything was great ?

It was great to arrive and be greeted with a smile - it really makes a huge difference to everyone’s day. The staff here are top class and extremely helpful. The room was excellent and the view over the lake from the balcony was as expected. The breakfast provided fresh local produce including cheese, croissants and pastries. Coffee here is varied and great. In addition to all this the property supplied us with a Ticino card which we used on a very rainy day to visit Lugano which is a bonus. We highly recommend this property as its location is on a bus route and only a few minutes from the train station and boat demarcation point - this is a 5? venue. Thankyou for a pleasureable experience - pity about the weather. ?????

Because of its name "Garni", I did expect a mediocre facility, but was really pleasantly surprised by this full-service facility.Excellent location (even on foot) easily reached by car or public transport; with availability of parking (CHF 11/day) in the garage for about 10 cars and another 5 or so outside;The receptions staff is incredibly professional, yet very friendly and helpful. The breakfast-room is large enough to accommodate the guests at sit-down tables....there is a great selection of cold-cuts, cheeses, bread, eggs, cereal, juices, and coffees.The facility is equipped with an efficient, noiseless elevator.The rooms are well equipped, very clean, comfortable bed.....all told a very pleasant stay....I shall return
