Pros +
- Breakfast was fresh and adequate. The hotel was situated right in the village with quick access to everywhere. Would highly reccomend this place to anyone.
- Good location for train travellers and close to funicular/chairlift
- The breakfast was perfect! Good coffee, the ingredients were fresh and tasteful. The staff were kind and the hospitality was great.
Cons -
- No kettle in room and limited breakfast options.
- The facility - room service- parkingMenu of breakfast No boiler no sleepers
- Room was very hot, window facing to another house wall, so no view. Very noisy from the restaurants on the ground floor. Window closed - no noise but… airco did not cool down at all. Even though another client mentioned this the management didn’t change anything. Our 2 days stay totally spoilt because of no sleep. Breakfast was unorganised. Do not recommend.

There is no person available at reception but all questions or issues were answered/handled immediately. ?Bed was very comfortable, I would prefer a higher or additional pillow.Big comfortable bathroom and great job of cleaning personal! ?Eating breakfast downstairs at the Piazza Grande, seating on the sunny side was great! ?Location perfect! Our room had no view, which means the window was facing the wall of another building very close. It could be opened but it didn’t allow a proper airing. The noise of pigeons could be heard also at night, so keeping the window opened at night was not a solution. There is an air conditioner/heater in the room. We couldn’t switch to cooling so we turned it off for the night.
Great location, room was clean and it was just perfect for a one night stay, loved the mobile key system
Very stylish rooms, big bathroom.

not very pleased
Complicated online check-inBreakfast very basic, the worst on my trip
Location is superb. The interaction with the coffee employees who "managed" the hotel check-in and payment were very pleasant.
It was rather noisy outside - luckily the AC was just about cool enough to be able to sleep with the windows shut.
I recently stayed at the Seven Town House Boutique Hotel during the Moon&Stars Festival and must say that the hotel's location is unbeatable. Its proximity to the festival grounds is perfect, making it quick and easy to return to the hotel after the concerts.
Unfortunately, this is where the positive aspects of my stay end. The room window faced a closed courtyard, making ventilation impossible. This was particularly problematic as the air conditioning was very noisy but did not cool the room at all. It was simply impossible to sleep under these conditions. By 4 AM, the temperature in the room was an unbearable 36 degrees Celsius.Additionally, the room was very loud due to the hotel's close proximity to the festival. However, I was aware of this beforehand because of the location, so it did not come as a surprise. For a price of CHF 265 per night, I expect something better. A restful sleep should be a given in a hotel of this price range. I hope the hotel addresses its air conditioning issues in the future, as the great location alone is not enough to ensure a pleasant stay.
The great thing about this boutique hotel was the room: tasteful modern design and high-quality materials blending in well with the historic character of the building. But this is where the positive ends.
The hotel entrance has no sign (detectable to us) and is in a small entranceway. Staff of the cooperating bar, who seem to side-job as hotel receptionists, seemed a bit overburdened as the bar was busy with guests. The electronic check-in is so cumbersome that the bar staff seemingly has to explain it to most arriving guests, not only us. The email we received with info about parking etc. was misleading, with wrong/incomplete addresses for parking etc. No complementary water bottle, no coffee- or tea maker in the room, or a complimentary welcome drink at the bar - all not unreasonable expectations in that price category. Room had to be paid upfront, but still I received an (automated, I assume) email the next morning that I still have to settle the bill - not a nice gesture. Overall, value-for-money unsatisfactory. Could have been good, but done badly. Not returning.
Good sized room. Very clean, comfortable pillow
Great location and friendly service
Some basic things not available in the room which were probably due to them just openend. There was no iron available and no place to hang towels in the bathroom. There was only 1 thin pillow for each person which was uncomfortable. A lot of times there was nobody at the front desk which means we were not able to get help on the first day. Overall a clean hotel with a great location. Has a lot of potential to be a great hotel.
New Boutique Hotel in the city center of Locarno. Rooms are completely renovated and nicely decorated. At the bar downstairs we had nice coffee and delicious pastries for breakst. All in all very good quality/price ratio.
Location and the design
