Hotel Lago Maggiore - Welcome!

The room has a magic view on the lake. The breakfast was very good. 5mn walk from the train station, and everything was at 5mn walk. The terrace on the top floor has a mazing view.

The terrace has no chaire in the winter. No spa access.

Everything. My husband fell hiking and had emergency hip surgery. The staff were welcoming and terrific! A wonderful place!

The view of the lake is stunning with the huge window and balcony! Alma and other staff members are extremely helpful and so kind. Everything about the hotel is amazing! Easy parking underground with elevators to your room, quiet even on the lake side, fantastic breakfast, clean room supplied with all necessities and location couldn’t be better. We returned a second time on our trip because it was our favorite.

Great Location. We had rooms with lake view which was wonderful. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, but had a great experience and will go back on our next trip to Locarno.

The only thing I would suggest is that the towels are basic and kind of stiff.

It is too expensive for the services offered. Poor breakfast. It's not worth that much money. Very expensive parking!

The location is great in front of the lake and few hundred meters from the Centre. The staff was very kind. The breakfast was very good.

The staff at this hotel were truly exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible and beyond that, they were kind and genuine while doing so. The hotel was spacious and immaculate. Our room was comfortable. There were enough outlets. Everything worked as it should have worked.

We wished there had been a bathtub!

Hotel Lago Maggiore is a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Located lakeside. Buffet style breakfast was very good.

Not the hotel’s fault but it rained our entire stay.

We loved the location, rooftop and view of the lake from our room.

Excellent lakeside location in a prime restaurant area and near the ferry dock.

Parking problems -public parking opposite has a 2 hour limit. Hotel parking seems clumsy with underground lift and is expensive.

Property was a nice bit of luxury and space with a serviceable gym and got a room upgrade to the lakeside rooms, drinks on patio and nice breakfast. The room is expansive with nice balcony looking over the lake.

Not the cheapest country in Europe but hotel priced accordingly
