-Great food and many options to choose from at the Orangerie restaurant (we took HB for 25 dollars pp)-Nice comfortable Family Room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms-Great house reef with many colourful fish, you dont need to dive you can rent a full face snorkelling mask from the bazaar shop for 5 euro/day and just do some snorkelling-Many beach umbrellas and loungers we had no problem finding one even later in the morning (try the far right side it has better views and less people).-We had our lunch at the Divers Club next to the beach where the food was very good and at good prices-The Diving Club arranges both diving and snorkelling trips at beaches nearby. Be sure to write down your name on the list early on (there is a minimum of 4 persons per trip). There is a place called Abu Dabbab where you can see sea turtles and cows (Dugongs). Unfortunately we did not make the dates but hopefully you will!

-We booked this hotel due to its proximity to Luxor as my daughter wanted to sea the ancient ruins. We booked a day trip to Luxor with the Hotel's (in-house) associate, New Line Limousine Company, which cost about 480 euros for three people. First, they tell you that the trip takes 3-3,5 hours but it actually takes 5 hours since tourists cannot use the normal road, they have to travel through Safaga first and pass through a check point there. But most importantly nobody warned us that it was going to be 43 degrees Celcius there!(be warned there is a huge climate difference between the Red Sea and inland Egypt!). It was impossible to walk and see the monuments, the car was too small for 5 people, the guide insisted on taking us to other monuments than the ones we paid for, there was no boat ride as advertised, instead they took us to a "traditional" alabaster workshop where we were asked to pay 270 euros for 4 artifacts which of course we refused. The owner was very persistent to the point that the price dropped to 100 euros and even 50 euros. All the time we felt like we were being scammed. We mentioned this to the person who books these trips inside the hotel but he did not seem all that interested. He actually said that we should have checked the weather ourselves before we left. If you must see Luxor try an overnight stay where you will also be able to see the evening light show. -Waiters inside the hotel kept trying to sell us coupons for "Fisherman's Hut" night. My husband finally gave in so we bought these coupons for a supplement of 50 euros p.p. in order to have dinner by the sea which included lobster, shrimp and calamari. We were disappointed by the quantity and quality of the food as well as the entertainment and wished we had stayed at the Orangerie restaurant which was already paid for. Again, it felt like a rip off.

Staff, standards, quality and small touches. I caught a throat infection and couldnt dive, without prompting, reception sent some throat lozenges. Small touches but lovely. This hotel is a class act.

Unless you're diving this is quite a remote resort. Also I thought the prices in the restaurant £35 for a buffet, spa €110 for a massage and bar £50 for 4 martinis was expensive. Also €15 for a return 5k trip was extortionate (especially when 165k to hurghada externally booked was €35).I'll come back (excellent house reef and local diving with easy divers) but will rely more on external contacts.

This resort is one of the best I’ve stayed at in Egypt. The view is breathtaking, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the staff are amazing—friendly and attentive, especially Mamdouh from the housekeeping. The quality and diversity of the food exceeded my expectations.

There is room for improvement in clearly communicating which items are not included in the all-inclusive (the plus) package. It also feels odd to have exclusions in the first place, given the premium price of the package.

Gorgeous property, great beach, good restaurants; helpful staff. Our room had a wonderful sea-facing patio with a private jacuzzi which we put to great use!!

Rooms were a little on the small size, especially for the price. Property was very much geared towards German tourists.

Location stunningly beautiful with lovely nubian style rooms, (no high rise horror) gorgeous gardens amazing delicious healthy food. The staff are exceptional, kind and helpful, nothing too much trouble from the excellent pool side staff to the waiters and cleaners and reception. Everywhere beautifully clean, the pools are immaculate. Just a wonderful place to relax this was our second trip and we'll be back! An annual favourite. And we love the beautiful well fed cats!

    Nothing!

My favourite place. They added some things to the rooms such as irons with ironing board and a beach bag, which I appreciated a lot. My room was above the beach and a few meters from restaurant, which was perfect.

The light switches in the rooms are confusing. They could promote more the music sessions, that take place in the hotel, so more people would attend. I'd appreciate broader selection of meat in the buffet.

It’s my third time staying in this hotel and I keep falling in love with it each time more than the other. Exceptional service and quality. The best sandy beach, wonderful breakfast and dinner buffet. I tried their Egg’s Benedict today and was really impressed by the overall taste and quality of the food.

I used to go to this resort every year as a child and now I came back after 15 years. It's still amazing. The coral reef is still beautiful and the food has even become better. I can highly recommend this hotel because the price value experience is amazing.

Everything was beyond beautiful and my stay exceeded my expectations. The Staff are super friendly and very kind including the Staff at the reception, housekeeping and the beach. Mostafa our activities guide, he was so much fun and knowledgeable of the area since he is from El Quseir City. We went City Biking and morning exploring Walk, both were amazing. The suite was modernly furnished, very cozy and warm. The beach is super clean with crystal clear water. I truly had a great relaxing stay exactly as i was dreaming of. I can’t wait to go back again next year.

    9IrenePosted on: 4-22-2024

Lovely hotel with village-style architecture on a gorgeous house reef (we’re seasoned snorkel enthusiasts and the coral bounty, colours and fish were world class right off the jetty) we had a junior suite with an amazing porch. Premium sea view rooms are all great but the cheaper rooms are quite small. The upgrade is absolutely worth it. The bed was very comfortable. The food by the Dive Center is especially wonderful. Breakfast buffet is amazing. We would definitely return.

Be wary about all inclusive as this only covers the buffet restaurant. We had half board and it was financially more sensible because we liked to eat by the beach or elsewhere. The music around the pool was at times very loud and next time I’d ask for a room further from the main area. Some employees seemed stressed and even unfriendly (a contrast to some who were very friendly) but maybe it had to do with Ramadan and I assume it’s difficult to serve guests food and drink in the heat while fasting.

Room was well furnished and equipped

Poor design regarding wardrobe beside the bathroom door. They can’t be fully open at the same time. The outing to the local town was very disappointing and badly organised; we would not have joined it if we had known.
