Hôtel Glanis

Very friendly staff, modern room with nice size balcony and view on mountains. Very extensive breakfast which was included in the price (especially the pancakes were appreciated). Not overly busy. Underground parking was very convenient.

The location right across from the train station is great if you like to reach Geneva or Lausanne by train, but does cause additional noise from trains.

Comfortable bed and large vanity.

The hotel was right by the train station which was nice. The owner was friendly.

We had laundry done and it was very expensive. Was mostly BVD’s and T shirts with a couple pairs of pants and a very light jacket. I guess we were lucky to have had the service, but was expensive. The shower door is a poor design as when you showered about a 1/4 gallon of water came out onto the floor.

Location. Close to train station and at the same time very quiet. Clean, modern and spacious. Brilliant breakfast onsite with great selection.

Although modern rooms quite basic, advertised leisure facilities but none, they mean there are facilities nearby at a cost. Hotel tax to pay had increased by 50% to 4.50 pp per night not reflected on booking.com web site. Hotel expensive for out of town hotel but it is Switzerland.

Lovely spacious room, lots of surface area to place luggage & essentials. Very quiet. Across the street from the train station so easy to get anywhere. The breakfast was delicious and had so many choices. Make sure you greet the adorable hotel mascot Mini the Papillon!

The location is excellent for people who prefer to travel by train and/or bus, though neither of them are frequent (half hourly to hourly).The restaurant is bright and pleasant. The lobby is cosy.

The room is stuffy. The ventilation is poor. If the window is opened, you can hear trains passing by. The shower tray is shallow. Water can spray everywhere. The washing basins are in the room, a strange layout. The Wi-Fi never works. The breakfast is full of high sugar foods, like cakes, fruit tarts, pancakes, etc, not a lot to choose from. Some staff members don’t speak English. The room doesn’t have USB sockets or international power sockets, and our European continental plugs don’t work. Unless we need to come to Gland to visit family, we would not stay here again, unless it is refurbished to up-to-standard, as Gland itself is just a boring small town, nothing to write home about.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Glanis. The staff were attentive and were happy to answer any questions that we had. They have taken the time to ensure the place is well set up to make your stay very comfortable and the room itself was spacious and very clean. The location is great as it is right next to the train station (yet we did not hear any noise from the trains). The underground parking was also a big plus for us. Although we didn’t have the chance to visit the restaurant on site, we did read the menu and it sounds delicious. We will have to try it out during our next stay!

The staff was friendly and very accommodating to make me comfortable while I was visiting. I appreciated the early check in since it was available for me it made my 1st day restful and stress free with my long flight arriving a few hours before check in. Thank you so very much for the excellent experience and I will be back to stay again this year and recommending it to friends and family.

Nothing! Everything was exceptional with the restaurant available and the location to the train was wonderful!

The hotel is literally next to the train station, but there is no train noise. The staff is really professional and friendly. I use this hotel on regular basis and i will continue to use it.
