Amazing location!

I am American, I love air conditioning but when in Europe, embrace the heat!

Great staff! Clean and well-located. Personalized attention. Infant crib provided.

The location was perfect

The restaurant was pricy and not good.

Perfect location to explore the Old Town of Thun, beautiful facilities and attentive staff. Particularly a fan of the location and views of the castle from the room.

Nothing to dislike. Only would update the bathroom we had, it was a bit dated and the shower/bath tub was very small. Might be a hazard for older guests.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Clean and tidy facilities. Great location!

Nothing to dislike

Loved everything about this stay. Wasn't expecting much as it was a stop over stay between Bern and Grindelwald but loved the location, the room and the staff. If we had known, we would have stayed longer. Did not have the opportunity to experience the restaurant.

Location and comfortable clean rooms are oerfect.

Rooms are a little small

Lovely hotel in a very central location for exploring the highlights of Thun. Staff are friendly and our room was neat and tidy with air con. Breakfast was good too. The local swimming spot (Aarebad Thun) is just a short walk from the hotel which is a refreshing, fun activity on a hot summer day.

Everything was fine. Coffee/tea was in the corridor, not in the room, but I kinda liked it, because you get better selection in the shared corridor, than what you would normally get in your private room.Bathroom was a bit too small.

Location fantastic. View from bedroom window very nice, although quite noisy saturday night.

Certainly not a four star hotel. Over priced in relation to other hotels in Thun. Smells of cooking - between onion and burnt toast were intense early in the morning.

Position: simply amazing! Just in Rathausplatz with its incredibile view below of the castle.Room: nice welcome kit for our dog.People in reception very welcoming and helpful!

Just a little bit overpriced to me considering the basic room we received and the absence of additional services (s.e. Always open restaurant, a must have considering holiday season).

We had bad weather...

The Reception staff were excellent- friendly and very helpful. The hotel is central and is both modern and traditionally charming at the same time. The coffee and tea making facilities were very much appreciated.

Very historic environment, nice individualized rooms. They gave me an upgrade to a real suite without me asking for it.

Nice local hotel. Great location right in the heart of the old town and walkable to everything. Nice touches, like vouchers for a free welcome cocktail in the trendy Atelier Bar across the street. I asked in advance for gluten free options at breakfast and they were delivered to our table without me asking in the morning - I was impressed. Good value.

There was an large attractive smokers lounge by the reception and restaurant - the only equivalent for non-smokers was tucked away on the first floor and less appealing. Hotel seems more like 3* then 4*.

Great room, very spacious. In old town close to the castle. Walking distance to the train station. The staff were helpful and spoke English.
