Exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

Rooms need to be updated a bit. However, they were clean and adequate.

The restaurant was excellent and the staff very nice.

Room was not decorated for coziness …rather stark .

DO NOT COME IF YOU WANT STRESS-FREE NON-SMOKING STAY.NO ELEVATOR plus the stairs are high, i got the room under the stair, the room was dark, comes with very small 1 slit window(different from the picture when booking), very hot during the daytime provided with only 1 small fan, very bad ventilation. And what’s worse is that the smoking smell from the shared public balcony easily fills the entire room even with the window completely close. So the room is NOT SMOKEPROOF, the non-smoking room/smoke-free property claim was bullshit. Definitely not recommend for the non smoking clients at all, i suffered from breathing the smoke entire night and hotel staff came with me to check after i complained but she cannot sense the tobacco smoke, they blame you for opening the fans so that the smoke goes down but it’s definitely still there. They cannot provide other rooms for you, the only solution is to open that damn window+fan. And all the staff had bad response/ management on the situation.

Loved that I could check out really early!! It made it possible to make it to the airport early to check in! If only I had more time, I would’ve loved to have stayed and explored Thun a bit more!

Cute hotel, nicely furnished

Don't go in summer, as there is no air conditioning. It was a warm day (20°) and the room was a sauna when I arrived. I had a "tiny room" and the window was extremely tiny. Fortunately there was a fan.Also for people who might need it, there is no elevator

We had a lovely stay! The hotel was clean and newly renovated. The location is perfect with few of the castle.

Lovely and welcoming staff. I needed an extra pillow and it was in my room in 10 minutes. I had a mini room which was absolutely big enough with a full bathroom and double bed. The food in the restaurant was really good too. Very attentive staff, will absolutely stay there again!

The house is quite old and the walls are not very insulated so you can hear what’s going on outside your room. It wasn’t enough to bother me, I just noticed it.

Hotel is nice and clean. The room was big and there was a restaurant right in the same building. Hotel is walking distance from restaurants and store.

I had gotten the impression that there was parking on site, but there isn’t. It was not very easy to unload our luggage and pet and then find the parking, as the hotel is located right on a busy roundabout. We also ended up paying more than we thought in taxes.

Great location, veery friendly and helpful staff. A nice restaurant downstairs which is very convenient. Beautiful view on the mountains from our room on the last floor.

Room had a strange smell

The room was cosy, spacious, and clean.

A cozy small hotel located at a lovely small city Thun near to famous Jungfrau region. Choices of restaurants along the river running through Thun. Train and bus stations are nearby. Supermarkets, shops around the corner.

Not really. Just there is no lift so take note of this if have heavy luggage.

The rooms in the hotel were nice and the bed was super comfy! It was also super close to the old part of town and the castle which was lovely and close to lots of really great restaurants!

The service from the staff wasn’t the best, and there isn’t a real reception it’s just connected to the restaurant. We were only there 2 nights so it was highly functional for what we were after!

it is a beautiful building modified as a modern and comfort hotel located a 10 minute walk to old town. clean and spacious room. satisfying breakfast and very helpful and kind staff.

Welcomed by friendly staff. The double room was very clean with a great shower and a balcony overlooking the castle. We also had a great evening meal at the bar. The breakfast was also very good with lots choice.

Very warm welcome. very helpful staff. I made a error in booking only one night instead of two. Fully booked for the second night and went out of their way to find an alternative hotel
