Hotel Krone

Nice breakfast, we had booked two rooms for our family and they were ideally situated one in front of the other, which is perfect, thank youParking is just in front of the hotel, showers are good, bathrooms are spacious.

Beds, in particular pillows, could be improved.

Easy to find, a simple phone call and the host was present. Room was very clean and warm. Breakfast was good and I was part of the Swiss celebrations that started at 5.00am, a great experience

Wednesday the kitchen was not open so the hosts directed me to a restaurant nearby. The chicken dish was amazing.

Warm, friendly atmosphere when I arrived, and a very helpful lady helped with parking, checked me in and looked after me at dinner despite my lack of Swiss German. The room had everything I needed and was clean, quiet and comfortable. Good buffet breakfast with lots of coffee!

for a 2 star hotel is nice. common areas need an upgrade. pool seems nice, but we didn't use it.

the restaurant seems very nice but the night we stayed at the hotel the restaurant closed at 7pm due to a special buffet event, so we couldn't try it.

A very handy location for a stop. We made a very last minute booking, and everything went smooth.

The staff did not speak English, so it wasn’t that easy to communicate.

I would suggest to put more "frittaten" into the frittaten suppe which was nearly empty..beside that i had a good dinner and location for food and stay in general is recommended

Very clean. Comfortable. Good facilities and some off road parking.

The pool was a lovely touch but was extremely cold. Phone in advance if you would like to use the sauna ?Restaurant near by was cash only. But a cash point is just down the road. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed the day we were there.

Very nice and clean room, with a view over the valley. Very kind and helpful hosts: let me place and recharge my e-bike in the garage box. Good breakfast. Strong WIFI.

The restaurant and the bar was closed on our second night, you couldn't even get a soft drink, although the locals were still being served!!!!staff were unfriendly and rude, apparently they have a swimming pool, no one even mentioned where it was or when it was open... To get a drink or coffee with breakfast seemed like a chore, when I asked what an item on the menu was I was told to google it!!!! Any English bikers looking at staying here, I would advise otherwise... They were happy to take our money tho, furious with the attitude we were shown!!!

The rooms were much newer than expected. It looks like everything was recently renovated. Everything was very clean. The location is good. The breakfast was not vary varied, but what we had was tasty.

The pillows were too flat. They were also down filled, which was not great for my partner who is allergic to it. Also our duvet was too narrow and not really big enough for two people to sleep under comfortably. So overall we did not get a good night sleep, which is unfortunate because everything else was good.

Arrived at the hotel during the open hours stated for check in, and no one was there and the hotel was closed. They did not answer the phone and booking.com was also not able to reach them so I had to wait over 2h to get a new hotel.

Beautiful location with picture postcard views. Very central and perfect for using as a base for further exploration. Everything was clean and very well organised. Breakfast was very nice, dinner was tasty and the staff were very pleasant..
