    Pros +

    • Great staff. Great breakfast. Lots of shopping and food close by.
    • Easy access to interstate. Has parking. Staff friendly and helpful.
    • There was no even internet, hairdryer nothing.money/performance ratio is weak, sorry

    Cons -

    • Smelly from the cigarette smoke smell removing chemicals or mold or something. Wifi was nonexistent. Worked for all of 15 seconds. Disappointed as wifi is critical for me. Regarding the odor, I had to leave window open for several hours make tolerable.
    • Horrible receptionist and heating did not work in the room with sub zero temperatures outside. The restaurant had closed 1.5 hour’s before advertised time. We did not stay the night and found Ibis Budget nearby which was excellent for a budget hotel in every way.
    • Heating did not work properly,no second blanket, slept with clothes on,result is a cold.

Great place to stop on the way to swiss alps, great staff, friendly, good rooms, little motel vibes, but great

Shower and drainage noise from neighbouring rooms was very high. Poor building construction is the cause. The floor was cold as well. Friendly staff did compensate a bit for the aforementioned drawbacks.

Reception easy and quick.Helpful host.Room had plenty of space, clean and warm.Kettle and tea coffee facilities appreciated.Easy to find.

No negatives to speak of. Campanile are generally very reliable, this one is no exception.

    Nice bed

Outside was very messy. Corridors need cleaning, off putting at first

    8HowardPosted on: 7-28-2024

Clean and functional at an acceptable price. Cheap fuel, very nice bistro and nice bakery near by.

Plenty parking, fair breakfast. A few options for eating out within walking distance.

Restaurant very basic with aging decor and furniture, no outside terrace available despite being summertime. Breakfast choice fairly basic and closes at 9am. Rooms now very dated and badly in need of modernising, minimal sound insulation so could hear TV of next room easily. Location is on out of town industrial estate/retail park. Poor value for the price charged.

    Staff great.

Lots of hot water but could not get shower to work and no plug in bath!

The room was dismal and had a funny smell. We had booked 2 nights but left after the 1st and booked into another hotel.

Clean and comfortable (better maintained than the Campanile we had stayed in the previous night - Arras). Breakfast was very good.

The restaurant was closed for renovation … but we had not been informed beforehand. Instead, we were directed to a nearby (and fairly pricy) restaurant which was very busy and could give us a time-limited table only. The reason we stay in Campaniles is because they have an on-site restaurant - so much more convenient for travellers. For this reason the Arras Campanile scored far higher than this one - the restaurant was excellent and just a few steps from our room.

Great location plenty of parking modern and comfortable rooms.

Had to go to reception for hairdryer which was fine as lovely day, but would have been unpleasant in rain or winter.

Friendly staff. Motel style room with parking outside the room. Clean, pleasant

    Breakfast supplies were low.

Good place, close to city ring road, big parking. Quiet

Breakfast not always well prepared.Very cold in room, heating doesn't work. Because of that lot of humidity in room, easy to get cold or catch virusNot perfect clean, hairs in shower.

Great position. Near to our route.Good facilities, great breakfast, safe parking and dinner service.

Someone had been smoking in the room previously,

The value for money for an overnight stay on the French side of the Swiss border was exceptional. The room was as described so basic, small and motel style with door to the outside. The shower was hot and the towels were big and good quality. The Restaurant was fantastic value for money with a two course meal for two with half a litre of drinkable wine for £40. Great stop off point on our drive to the UK back from Italy. Breakfast was good value too and served at 7 am so we could get back to our journey early!
