Large room, perfect location, great staff.

The location was great! The building was beautiful, the windows were HUGE and opened fully

The hotel has a horrible smell and mold in the shower grout

they did finally provide me with what I requested and had paid for, but only after I was put in position to have to "be the bad guy"

My friend was staying at the same hotel at deferent room and tgey let before me and before they left the hotel thy keep my adapter for charging the phone at tge reception and tgey said to give it to me when i will leave when i came done before i checkout i ask a out it and the lady was not helpful at all and i ask her that my frined left it for me and she said no nothing here and i am alone nk one here and i asked her to call her stuff before her to askhim she said i dont have the number and so one and tgem my firend came back and she ask about it again anx she said nothing here amd my friend ask her to open the drower the same i asked her before anx she open it for me before she said nothing there a d when my friend asked her amd told her to open and she knkws that is there she told her aaahhhh this one so ya this is the full story

The location was great! The staff was pleasant.

I requested twin beds and I was given a double. There wasn't a top sheet. The lamp was inoperable.

Great location, just a few minutes' walk from Basel Station. Excellent staff, very welcoming and helpful.

It's just a minor matter, but I'm happy with this place and don't want to bring it up. Rather not to communicate in public :)

We needed somewhere close to the station and this is just across the road.It was very clean.

Very noisy at night....but it's the middle of a big city. To be expected.

It was very close to the train station. We were easily able to walk our luggage to the station. The breakfast was very nice for the added fee.

Easy to get to from the Basel Airport and steps away from the train/tram station. The hotel transportation cards were a treat!!!

The hotel is very good located, just 2 min walk to the central station, bus and train stops. A Basel card was offered for free public transportation. The room on the 1st floor was tiny but very clean, with comfy bed. The plumbing is all in excellent condition.Live music with an excellent repertoire creates a great atmosphere in the evenings. Breakfast are the same but tasty and satisfying.The hotel is 10-15 min walk to the main shopping area, Rathaus, Kunstmuseum and river bank where you can have a great walk.

Very nice hotel and conveniently located next to the Central Train Station and with many tram lines passing in front of it. The building is elegant and the room was very comfortable and the stuff very friendly.

There is a good restaurant on site, a little pricy but convenient if you do not want to go out for dinner. It was very close to the trains and trams. We were given a pass for discounts in museums and attractions. The piano in the lobby was nice to listen to. This is a classy hotel.

The room was cool when we arrived and there were no instructions on how to raise the heat. We had to ask for help.

We were upgraded to a junior suite which is situated on the corner of the hotel with a balcony that overlooked the park.The room was very lovely and heaps of room. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from the train station and a slightly longer walk into the old town centre. Breakfast that was included in the room price was good value and the who who's board of famous people that have stayed at the hotel is very interesting.The front desk was very helpful in giving us great directions so we could visit the Basel Car Museum - which is worth a look if you are into classic cars.

Hotel staff and facilities were excellent. Location relative to the train station and trams was ideal. Breakfast offerings was more than expected.

Honestly, I can't think of a negative for this property.

Nice classic hotel right by the Swiss railroad station. Breakfast was nice, but not included in my rate, so a good chunk extra. Clean, pleasant, no complaints. Pianist in the bar nice touch.

Great experience. Far better than we had in Mulhouse on our stop to Colmar. Basel and this hotel in contrast were wonderfully organized and welcoming. Only problem that i had was the noise of the trams right under our window but not enough to hinder our sleep after a tiring day of exploring the city.

The location (i.e. close to train station) was great for local and long distance exploration

The room was tiny and not laid out very well. No place to pack, unpack and store luggage. There was mold in the shower and the electric outlets were too few and difficult to access. The door needed to be slammed closed when leaving as the lock did not engage by simply closing the door. My wife was none to happy when I left early one morning and needed to slam the door to get it to lock. The desk and chair were more of a hindrance for a room of the size. I would have preferred more room with a smaller table and sitting chair than an oversized desk and desk chair.

The hotel is in a terrific location for walking to Old Town or doing day trips via train. Breakfast was very good and the staff very accommodating.

The location was good for travel. The room and bath were clean and spacious. The clerk who checked us in was helpful and nice.

The view was terrible but not much can be done about that. The very noisy elevator that was on the other side of the wall kept us up all night both nights. We got charged over $60 for 2 very low quality breakfasts. We had to sign 2 papers stating that the hotel isn’t liable if our things get stollen. We just kept the do not disturb sign on the door.
