Hotel im Schlosspark

Very close to my daughters apartment.

The price.

It's a great place, it's very silent, far from the noisy streets and the receptionists were very friendly to us and they made an effort to attend to our needs. Great place to stay.

I didn't like that we didn't have mini fridges in our rooms and that one time the cleaner didn't come to clean our rooms.

Hotel staff was amazing! Very helpful and so very nice.

Wish they had air conditioning and that their amazing restaurant had been open but it closes for summer holiday. Our fault, not their fault. We heard the restaurant was excellent.

Overall clean and cosy hotel in a quiet area of Basel but easily access to the city as the tram stop is just outside the hotel. Perfect for a stay if you want to avoid the busy part of the city.

Our room was very clean and surprisingly large. Our bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is perhaps 2-3km from downtown but right next to a tram stop. The included Baselland card made taking the tram downtown super simple. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the secure bike storage was easy.

It would have been nice if there were a nespresso in the room. Also, our room happened to have only a single bath towel.

No staff after 4pm, any issues then had to chase to get resolved. Poor parking.

Nice quirky place just a quick tram ride from the centre. Continental breakfast was above average. Very nice staff.

Room small and rather basic, especially the bathroom. WiFi very random. More like a B+B than a hotel, rather expensive for what you get.

Second time stayed this hotel location is excellent as next door to family Staff always ready to go the extra mile for you asked for extra pillows by time finished breakfast already delivered to our roomFacilities are great for what we needed

Nothing we didn't like everything positive

Actually nothing. And btw this picture I see here is not the hotel but the restaurant…….

The staff are not actually professional and it is really bad that nowadays an accommodation with guests do not have the possibility to pay with card. There is not reception! No one can help you if there is any problem after 6pm. The girls at the desk do not speak English and after I told them several times I do not speak german they continue to talk me in german, very rude!!

The room space is large and the enviroment outside of the hotel is good.The staffs are nice despite the English is not very good some times.

The toilet seat was not clean and one area was very sticky, which was the same for the whole 4 days of accomodation.

Very convenient location to stay a few days in Basel. A little bit out of the centre of Basel, but excellent access to the city using public transport, which comes for free with the guest card. Covered free parking across the road. This must be the 4th time we have stayed here. Very friendly staff.

Basic accommodation for the price. Need to travel in to Basel for decent food.

Nothing we didn't like

Breakfast was fine. The beds and bed linen were good. Water was left in the room. There was an honesty bar in the reception area.

I expected a better room/a little more luxury and comfort for the price paid.

Large room, very fair price. Silent. Close to Basel. Reception open after official checkin time. Good option to stay near basel. Excellent sushi across the road.

Check in was easy and the room was lovely. There were restaurants nearby. Breakfast was OK.

that where we stayed was more like a youth hostel than a hotel. No reception at night. No amenities apart from breakfast. Very simple rooms with single beds and shower curtains

A very nice and conveniently located hotel. The room was large and comfortable, the settings were great. The breakfast was generous. A good option for business travel.
