easyHotel Basel - self service and self check-in

Price was perfect

A breakfast option would have been nice

Smooth check-in, clean and spacious room, comfy bed, clean bathroom, well-connected and close to Basel Hbf, simple locker facilities, nice cafes in the area if you walk around. Can't really ask for more.

The price, location, cleanliness

No coffee machine, there was a party somewhere and it was difficult to sleep.

Good location, tidy room, comfy bed, great price. I truly recommend

Basic but allright and clean.

No AC, and next to a noisy road. So pick between noise or heat.

Good price for being Switzerland, free local transport with the included Basel Card, which also gives you discounts in museums and other places (highly recommended: “National History Museum of Basel”, only 3.5 CHF with the discount)

Had to go up 1 floor with stairs, not good with heavy luggage. This is a self check-in place so there is no staff on site, and there are only two self check-in machines and can’t check in before 3pm so I had to wait for other people to check in who had been waiting, they should add more machines.

Cleanliness

Internal design, noises from the street, bathroom, no hair dryer

the bed was conformable and the self check process was smoth

Too little space. Not for those with claustrophobia would hate it. It was very cramped.

Nice, clean, easy to check in hotel in a good location

The self check was ok but when we got to the room found iPad to watch tv missing wifi terrible hard to get on and kept dropping out. All I can say was clean

I liked it was right on the bus route so was convenient it also was just around the corner from a coop shop the only thing was the check in was a bit difficult as I arrived early and had to sit and wait for a couple of hours and paid extra to check in early but the earliest was at 1pm I am disable and struggle with stairs but there was no stairs but they did put me on the first floor which made it easier but was a struggle but I did mange the stairs slowly check out was easy but I couldn't find where to put the room card so had to leave it on the top but overall was clean tidy own bathroom and great value ?

Perfectly fine!

The room provided all the basics that we needed for a short stay. Bed was comfortable, and check-in was easy.

There was a lot of street noise but I still slept pretty well with my earplugs.

Location

I booked double bed it’s was double bed with two single mattress wasn’t very comfortable

Lack of room facilities such as kettle. tea and coffee provision.

The hotel was quiet and clean. Most of the room was adequate. They have made every effort to keep the nightly prices down without compromising on comfort. Self check-in was very easy.Its proximity to the city center was very good. We used public transportation for free with the Baselcard they provided us and we were able to enter the zoo for half the price.There were lockers provided for guests in the lobby for using after check-out.

There could have been at least a small table in the room. Just to eat a snack or do couple of things with laptop.After check-out, we put our luggage in the lockers in the lobby, but since we handed over our entry cards during check-out process and there was no receptionist or doorman at the hotel, we had difficulty getting back inside through the main door to take our luggages back.There was no elevator for guest for carrying luggages to the upper floors. Only stairs.

Bathroom

It was near the airport and the bus station . The hotel was clean and warm.

The bathroom is very small , you can’t move around . It doesn’t have an elevator and it is difficult to take the stairs with heavy baggages.Also the breakfast it was not worth the money . Cold eggs and not a big variety of food.

Check in process was easy, the computer guided clearly through all steps to check in. Room was not large but enough space

Had booked a double room but got a twin room, which was disappointing.
