Disappointing

The beds were two singles put together but the matresses were too thin and so uncomfortable and kept sliding off the bed itself - the room maid did not clean the room well and never changed the bed linen during our 4 night stay and also left rubbish uncleared which we had contained in a plastic bag on the floor- however the rest of the stay was good and the main staff very welcoming and helpful

The location of the hotel is pretty good

The stuff, it is such a shame that young people dont know a word of English, that they don't recognize a similar words from French, such as calling a taxi for the guests, therefore can not be helpfull to the guests.Recommendation: Please organize some fast speedy course of English for the stuff, at least the basic things.Also, you could put two towels per person.

The staff was really kind, easy accessible from the center of the town, at a distance of 18 minutes walk. Great comfy bed and the breakfast, even tough it doesn't have much variety, has a good taste.

The room is very small, but for a night stay that wouldn't be a big problem. Our room was located at the 5th floor and the whole night there was a noise from the central heating from the top of the building which was a bit disturbing. The room heating works only from the 2nd level, which at night it's a bit too loud to sleep with the heating on. There was a disturbing smell in the bathroom, which also went in the room, so the door to the bathroom has to be closed all the time.

Welcoming and accommodating members of staff, nice little bar to stop at even later in the evening. Basic rooms but they do the job and comfortable beds.

Nothing we didn’t specifically like.

Secure underground parking for a motorcycle walking distance to Mulhouse and easy tram transport to visit museums etc

The hotel is outdated. Bathrooms were old. They didn’t have heating while there was 5 degrees in the morning.Breakfast was poor. There were not enough food and tableware. The waiter brought coffee mugs only after we found him and asked.

The breakfast was surprisingly good. The staff were welcoming. The aircon and wifi worked. The hotel is 10-15 minutes walk from the centre. Free parking in the street outside. Quiet room at the back - it’s on a busy road.

The rooms at IBIS are very small and this was no exception. The tourist office has pads of city maps available, yet this hotel did not have any. The price at time of reservation was more than on arrival so best to check and, if so, cancel and rebook.

Rooms far too small.Booked for a double and a single bed.Just got a double. When changed to a double and single bed for to be the same size rooms. GrrrHad to pay for parking grrr. No coffees or tea in roomHad to pay for coffees in main reception. Un acceptable.

Wifi and location

After visiting this hotel for over 18 years I can honestly say that it is in the worst condition I have ever seen. The rooms are dirty and the decor is now drab. We had to battle with the flies for the very limited breakfast. Grimy hand marks on the toilet door in our room 314. No plug in the sink. No hand towels supplied. The bed mattress was protected with the worst plastic cover imaginable. This made the non fitted bottom sheet slide all over the bed. The wardrobe consisted of one coat hanger and one trouser hanger. There is no food on offer after the breakfast service for guests that have traveled hundreds of miles even though meals are still advertised on-line and on information posters in the hotel. I believe this hotel has now had its day and requires completely refurbishing. Sadly we will not be returning.

Location

No facility for an evening meal even though a party was being catered for on a table of 10.Only one bath towel in a double room and no hand towels. Only one thin pillow each provided and had to ask for more.

Walking distance to city centre and payable parking in privat garage

The rooms are in a poor condition. Duvet and bedlinned smelled sour and there was mold in the bathrooms and at the windows.
