Hotel Gasthaus Rössle

Excellent breakfast with a congenial host. Very close to the bus stop but 15-25 min by bus from the main bus and train terminal. The refrigerator stocked with wine, beer and coca-cola was an added bonus. Payment was made at breakfast for what was used. Short walk to a bakery, ice cream and two Italian restaurants.

The location was a bit far from the city center.

Room was very clean and shower had really good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was decent and the woman there was very friendly and gave good service.

The hotel was in a dead location and very isolated. There was no staff there to see except for breakfast.

The parking was good. Close to the entrance of the hotel. Very important when you’ve been on the road all day and have a lot of stuff to carry up to the room

I didn’t realise it was so close to a main road. The noise of the traffic was a bit annoying

When I booked it was important for us that there was a restaurant in the hotel. We got a message close to the arrival saying it was closed.

The room was way too small for 4 adults. Without someone to talk to about the dissatisfaction with the room, we were forced to book another room at another hotel. This mad communication with our traveling partners difficult and more expensive.

Noisy room.Street noise was disturbing at night. Breakfast was very basic.

Everything was OK, but nothing really made an impact. The feeling throughout the building was that the minimum was being done to keep the facility up, but little more. Special requests were honored, such as an early breakfast on Saturday, which was appreciated.

The biggest issue was the lack of ability to communicate with staff, as "check in" was to open an unlocked box and take your key. Messages to the phone number listed went to a mobile voice mail, and were not answered.

I liked the area, calm and quiet. Enjoy the typical German breakfast. Good internet to browse.

The room was clean and quiet. There was safe parking behind the hotel. The breakfast was substantial.

Well... that was quite peculiar. Upon our arrival, the place seemed deserted. We discovered the room key in a box by the front doors. The hotel itself is situated quite a distance from the city center (a taxi ride costs around €20), and while walking is an option, it's a considerable distance.

Breakfast was great. There were varity of choices.The lady serving us was kind and welcoming.

Just the church bell which kept ringing was a bit weird then we learnt it was a tradition. Overall our stay was just one night so not a big problem.

Off road parking for our motorbike. I liked the “honesty” fridge with beer wine and water available. Breakfast was OK

The balcony communal area was scruffy. Needs weeding.

The rooms are not very sound proof. The doors are banging, so you may wake up when the first person goes for breakfast.
