Hotel Hirschen in Freiburg-Lehen

This is our favourite place on our way from Danmark to Barcelona. Very kind and highly professional service, excellent breakfast and restaurant related to the hotel. A 100 meter from the hotel you can take a long and nice walk along the river Breisach to the centre of Freiburg. Hirschen is a wonderful place.

Nothing to complain about!

Comfortable room with all amenities, staff was extremely friendly and helpful.Underground parking with elevator.Unfortunately we visited in winter so could not enjoy the swimming pool nor the bier garden...

Location close to bus and tram, comfy bed, good shower, great breakfast buffet with wide choice, very nice staff at restaurant

Quite expensive for an out of city centre stay, pillows in bed too soft. Would be nice to have a choice of some harder pillows. Rooms to front quite noisy when people arriving and leaving restaurant.

The fabulous breakfast was the highlight of our stay. But all the rest was very fine as well. Cozy hotel, I felt like home. Good that there is possibility to safely park the car, inside or outside.

Restaurant is a bit too pricy but food is excellent.

Very pleasant hotel in a village ten minutes' drive away from the centre of Freiburg. Comfortable room with good facilities, a good bar, very nice staff and an excellent restaurant in the older part of the hotel

The breakfast was good with plenty of choice which sets you up for the day

The only thing that needs improvement is for someone from the bar to visit the pool area to check if anyone wants refreshments

The location, the staff, the air conditioning in the rooms, the breakfast and the underground parking are great.

We love the location, the food in the restaurant and being able to reserve a parking place and keeping it during your stay.

Exceptional hotel. Beautifully appointed, classy rooms. Lovely outside dining area. Breakfast superb- sparkling wine on ice a special touch. Very good value.

As promised exactly 2 years ago, we came for a third stay in this wonderful hotel. Didn’t use the pool this time, but the breakfast was great. Make sure to reserve your parking spot 10 euros) and a table at the restaurant (very nice dinner).

Nothing to dislike

Great location for our purpose. Very comfy beds, powerful shower, nice pool, delicious breakfast.Plenty of parking

It would be nice to have a kettle in the room for tea and coffee, and some water in bottles

Super al fresco restaurant and very comfortable room. Attentive staff and excellent breakfast.

Essential to book parking in advance and the car park has scarily tight bends

Fabulous hotel, great staff, good facilities, beautifully clean and well appointed.

Good breakfast, good beds, good pool area. Gluten-free bread available.

Unsmiling staff, staff kept forgetting our coffee orders, big mixup at checkout (wrong room and then wrong pool bill). Room ok but overall not the best value for the money.

With a sauna and an outdoor pool - these were wonderful to get to. Good car parking.

Breakfast wasn't great but ok if you enjoy european and bread breakfasts.

Lovely hotel on outskirts of town easy tram ride to the alte stadt restaurant served very nice food lovely staff could eat outdoors or inside comfy bed very good breakfast as well bags were waiting in our room nice touch !

nothing springs to mind

Wonderful food, the restaurant was first class. Prices are meeting the quality of the establishment.Underground free parking, we could leave the car there and take a tram into town or as we did, took a train into Switzerland to Zurich. On the evenings that were warm and dry we are outside in the garden area. Magnificent…… the food does taste better outside

No bananas for breakfast. The buffet had everything but this one item, Ha Ha.
