Hotel Rappen am Münsterplatz

Loved the view and location.

Parking was awful. Would be nice if they could reserve a few spots at the ramp like other hotels do.

Location was perfect; Room was excellent and well serviced; breakfast was really good [lots of fresh fruit};Other meals also exccemmeny - good range, well cooked!

Nothing - I will probably be back!

I love the privacy of the family apartment, it was extremely clean, comfortable. The only drawback was no kitchen. It accommodates 7 adults and 1 child for 2 nights

No kitchen.

Lovely location. Modern rooms, very comfortable beds and also very clean. The place is right above their restaurant. I saw people made comments to the noise, but there was almost none. How can someone want to be so central in the city and yet don’t want to hear any noise? This place is great, right next to the cathedral.

Only thing was that there was no coffee machine in the room, however we got the complimentary drinks which made up for that, so nothing to complain actually. It was a kind gesture.

Great location, extremely nice staff and a very good breakfast.

But sadly, it stops here: The accomodation was very simple. Scant furnishing, there was no telephone and no coffee pot in the room.Therefor, at over €200 per night this hotel is considerably OVERPRICED.

Located in the Freiburg market place. Lovely room great staff suoer location.

Location can’t be beat! Especially at the price. Staff was super friendly and restaurant was pretty good.

Typical considerations for Europe (vs US hotels) - poor WiFi, small bathroom shower.

We had the apartment and it was spacious and incredibly clean! Had our own entrance which was wonderful. The location can’t be beat! We weren’t in the city long, but we saw a lot and were in awe of the cathedral! Seeing the Black Forest was amazing!

Location. Room was lovely. Clean, modern, well appointed, great view of the square.

Great location, very clean. It was so warm our first night, temperatures in the 90s even with windows open. Staff was great at setting up a cooling system the next night, made the night much more comfortable for the kids.

A little loud in the early morning with the market getting set up.

Very good location , very good breakfast

The bathroom was stinking due to some exhaust problem . Staff tried to fix it , but could not . Courtyard of church can be noisy in the evenings

The location was amazing.

The apartment would be great for one large family. We had two couples and 3 older children. Had to go through one bedroom to access the 2nd one. Was fine for us.

Hotel in great location right on the square so very festive but not loud. Had nice room overlooking the market.

Restaurant staff checks you in and out for the hotel which is fine but the one checking is in was not familiar with the process and had some issues.

Easy to find, spacious and the location was incredible. Staff arranged a taxi for our return to the train station.

Staff were fantastic, place was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Would stay again!

The hotel is in an excellent location, tidy, and charming. It features a wonderful restaurant on the ground floor. The rooms have views of the cathedral and the square. It felt like home. I would certainly return there.

The fruits and vegetables weren't exactly the cleanest for the juice. Maybe not the best selection of fruits. The muesli wasn't very flavorful.

Perfect location in front of the Cathedral, easy to find and within walking distance from from public parking Karlsbau P13, perfect for our one night stay for a concert in town. Room very clean and warm, spacious bathroom, lift available. Best feature: Room windows facing the Cathedral and waking up with the sound of church bells.

Walls not very sound proof, I could hear next doors` bathroom usage throughout the night.

EverythingThe staff, the room , the locationThey could not have been more helpful and it was clean and warm which is very important for us.
