Nice location, very comfortable, with an indoors swimming pool that the kids loved. 30 minutes away from Europa Park. Great breakfast. Electric cars power stations.

The view from the room (far on the left) onto a dump of old chairs, old hotel furniture and other junk. It disrupts the overlook on the river.

Room was clean, well decorated and had small creek off of patio. Spa facilities (pool, saunas) were a bonus!Breakfast and dinner was fantastic! Staff very friendly and attentive.

Excellent staff, food and facilities. Exceptional customer service and attention to detail.

Only minor criticism was that the communal areas were closed for the day particularly early

Rooms has no coffee machines and water except what you get when you arrive. To get ti some rooms there is no optipn other than stairs and it 8s tough when you have several luggage.

Amazing&beautiful place. Small river attach. Black forest "on" the place. Quiet. The room is huge. All new and clean. Cute SPA (missing Jacuzzi). Great breakfast and sssooo kind stuff!!! Really all was perfect❤️By the way - there's a great art all over the hotel. Interesting pictures and more. The decoration is Whhaaww!!

Situated in the charming village of Glottertal, Hotel Schwarzenberg offers everything one could possibly want from a holiday. Our room on the very top floor was spectacular: comfortable beds, a good bathroom with a shower and a double sink. Fabulous views to both sides: the running creek and lush greenery on one, and vineyards, fields and mountains to the other. Buffet breakfast, which you can take on the terrace overlooking a wild creek, consists of a wide selection of cereals and homemade breads, cold meats, regional cheeses, fruits and yoghurts (to name a few). We had half-board and the 4-course dinners were delicious, regional cuisine with a Mediterranean touch, prepared by the owner. We are snobbish diners, but we had zero complaints, on the contrary. We also very much enjoyed the wellness centre. Clean area, big pool (not too chlorinated), 3 saunas (textile-free!!), nice relaxation room and small gym. Sufficient parking either in front of the hotel or across the street, space to leave bicycles. Once you parked the car, leave it there. The centre of the village is minutes away, one has access to all kinds of hikes, walks or strolls through the Glotter Valley or up the mountains. We consider ourselves very lucky and fortunate that we found this place.

The ONLY thing I could come up with: the wellness centre opening hours. The pool opens at 7, saunas at 13, and the centre closes at 20.30. I would have liked to stay in the sauna until 22.00.

The creek side room is wonderful! Staffs are all nice. Great local to explore south Schwarzwald area!

The staff were wonderful, the hotel was lovely with fantastic rooms and lovely views, and the food was exceptional.

The staff went above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, their genuine hospitality and attentiveness made us feel like valued guests. The food was excellent, the hotel is very comfortable and clean. We will for sure come again.

The staff is very friendly and created a warm welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of choice. Kids loved the pool! I can warmly recommend this hotel to families and hikers who like a cosy and quiet hotel.

I loved being right next to the stream which we could see and listen to from our room. The dinners served were exceptional.

We didn't feel entirely welcome - almost more of a stepchild visiting. Some of the staff were very friendly. Others were not. But we loved the place anyway.

Excellent! Above my expectations. Very friendly staff : Smiling and not stressed. Hotel has a mix of Modern appliances & furniture in a typical old style settings. Very relaxing & quite clean as well. Highly recommend.

All staff were friendly and very accommodating. Due to heavy traffic we arrived later than expected and although the restaurant had just closed, they served us dinner anyway.We enjoyed our daily swim in the pool and a hot sauna.

No negative remarks, we really enjoyed our stay!If the opening hour of the pool and sauna could be extended that would make it perfect.

The breakfast area next to the natural running water stream is outstanding. One can sit there on a sunny day for hours and enjoy stupendous meals.

The hotel felt very friendly, staff made us feel very at home. Lovely bedroom at the front of the hotel. Swimming pool was great. We had our grandchildren and they loved being there.We will definitely come back again

The restaurant didn't open until 6.30pm and so we had to eat in the next door restaurant that opened at 5pm , children wouldn't wait!

I loved the ambient, beautiful location, great staff, very friendly, great food! Oh! the stream at the side of the hotel was fantastic. I will visit the hotel again when I can.

Very quiet and pleasant hotel. We ordered 2 rooms and both of them were clean and spacious. The breakfast was very tasty and the dinner was above all the expectation.Dinner was prepared by a very talented Chef and it was worth to be in the hotel for this meal. The stuff was with high customer service awareness.

Opening hours of the pool was till 21:00, it could be a little bit later for ending the day in summer evening
