The Alex Hotel

I liked the location, near the university and close to the downtown pedestrian areas but in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel was very modern and comfortable.

I selected this hotel specifically because it listed AC and the AC was very weak and I had to sleep with the window open to get the room cool enough to be comfortable.

Hotel and room very stylish. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was great. Location was quite.

Location little far from attractions, but in quite/peaceful location, close to train.

The staff was extremely friendly. Also, the decor and cleanliness were impeccable.

A little difficult to find so make sure you have a map at the ready after arriving at the train station, or take a quick taxi.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room was very small. No coffee maker in room and we paid over $9 euros for two coffees.

Walking distance from the Amin train station. Quiet, clean and neat environment. The breakfast was offering everything you need in little quantity that I found fair and sustainable.

Given a single duvet for a double bed. I thought that was poor when paying for a full room for 2 nights.

I the room I was missing slippers, bathrobe and water. For the price of the room I belive this is normal to be included.

Attention to details: eh assortment of soap and shampoo and lotion bottles renewed every day (I hate it when soap is just a big bottle hanging from the wall). Very quiet location. Conveniently locate close to the center, the railway station and the university.

Clean and modern hotel. Renovation looks new, hotel was clean. I was happy with the hotel and would definitely stay again.

The toilet’s dry area had no proper drainage. As the shower is small and the shower screen has no door, water easily splashes out. The flooring of the toilet was tilted towards the toilet door, and as a result i woke up with a puddle of water in front of my door the next morning

Hotel was overall good. Clean, well-maintained, beautiful. Staff was polite and friendly.

The breakfast is very very limited. And the refilling of finished products took ages or did not happen.The parking situation is pretty bad. We were offered a garage space for 20 euro a night but they said It'd be "too small" - we have a Golf. Parking outside is readily available but for 3.80 euro/hour. If you want a cheaper option, there is a parking 1m away which costs 10 euro a day. Which was ommitted by the staff.

I recently stayed at The Alex Hotel for two nights, and I must admit that my experience was far from what I had hoped for.The first issue was the size of the room. It was much smaller than I had anticipated based on the information provided during the booking process. This lack of space made it somewhat uncomfortable to move around and relax in the room.However, the most significant problem was the malfunctioning electronic window. It wouldn't close properly, which meant that the room's air conditioning couldn't function as it should. This issue was not discovered until after midnight, causing some disruption to my night's sleep. Despite notifying the hotel staff promptly, they were unable to resolve the problem in a timely manner.In an effort to address the inconvenience, I politely asked for compensation in the form of a complementary breakfast. Unfortunately, my request was declined by the hotel staff, which was disappointing.In summary, my stay at The Alex Hotel left much to be desired. I expected a more comfortable and trouble-free experience. While the issues I encountered were not major, they did affect my overall satisfaction with the stay. I hope the hotel can address these concerns to ensure a better experience for future guests.
