Novotel Freiburg AM Konzerthaus

Breakfast was great. Room was nice. Beds were awesome!

Bathrooms could use some updating

The location was very convenient.

Paying 19 Euros for breakfast. It was a good breakfast, but too much money.

The location is the best of it.

The water of the pool could be more warmer 😅

Good location and really practical setting, with the underground parking and possibility to go stair to the room. The room was large and comfortable, and pool and wellness area was a plus. It's not clear why the hotel currently only has a 7.9 rating. We were happy with our choice.

The breakfast was rather pricey for what it offered.

Location perfect and staff very helpful and friendly

Sofa bed not comfortable

Conveniently located close to transport hubs. Comfortable room, well equipped bathroom. Excellent breakfast buffet. Good choice of meals served in the bar.

A minor complaint that check-in was slow. Really needed a second person on Reception. However, check-out in the morning was excellent.

Large, clean room. Very comfy bed.

No safe.

work trip

When I arrived at my room, the door was not fully closed, so I entered with caution just in case. I guess the door was not closed properly after cleaning.

Location.

I’ve been there a couple times. Once a nice room and the other a terrible room with a tiny window. They should not charge parking for guests. It needs a renovation urgently

Large room with good space, free minibar with good variety of drinks and snacks, very close to main station

Dark rooms with not enough lighting was the main issue. Rooms are quite dated and feels old. And although room was described as having a kettle, it was not there, although it was provided when I asked for it.

Location was excellent, staff friendly, quality of the facility was great. It exceeded our expectations

There was not a safe in the room

Location. Is alright to reach by car without problem. City is small, walking distance from the hotel

Breakfast. Very simple. We should wait to get the table, taking ages for the tables to be cleaned (I guess non-proffesional waiters during the Xmas time.Long time for the check-in, even I got a fine to park in front of the hotel, in the free 15 min area

The location was very convenient, only a few minutes walk to the old town and shopping area. The breakfast was adequate. Plus, the A la carte menu for dinner has a good selection to choose from, if you don’t feel like going out! The staff were kind, helpful and friendly. The parking area was convenient. The rooms were spacious and clean. We didn’t use the spa or pool, but a great way to finish the day!

The breakfast needed a bit more diversity. The pillows were not of a 4 star hotel! The configuration of the room was awkward. Plus, the sofa beds and table were bulky, which made opening the closet in our room very difficult. Bathrobes and slippers were not provided in the rooms, but could be requested. Amenities were not in the room either, but could be requested.

Location

Bathroom and the window of the room. Why for such a room they need to put a bathtub instead of a shower area. This was so inconvenient. The building layout was awfull. The window was a blind window facing the enclosed area behind.

Location was excellent, nice clean property. However the aminites were limited based on other Novotel properties I have been in the past.

The hotel did not care...

The electronics which we accidentally left behind in the hotel room was kept by hotel. We get back to them in a few hours after checkout to ask but they said that they could not find it. Not even single apologies. So be careful with your personal belongings not to leave behind when checkout.

Great location. All the basic needs

Housekeeping not great. Need decent and more pillows and towels. Not enough outlets. Need bedside for phones and devices

Location and pool.

Took 35 minutes to check in even though it wasn’t crowded.

Sauna included

There has been smoking in my room the day before. The hotel looks a bit weared out in the halkways

Swimming pool

Price for a very aged hotel, it doesn't justify.Needs a room makeover for sure.
