I did not like the fact that I had been charged for a double room, although I had booked a single room. The receptionist said that they could not reimburse me but they did not even allow me to have breakfast instead. They wanted to charge me for that too.

I never had the chance to share this, but we also stayed here in May just last year as a mini birthday trip. The hotel reception staff are really nice and they truly went above in making my birthday so extra special. I really appreciate their efforts and it truly made me smile. In addition, this trip was just as great, the rooms are spacious, a lot of options for tea and coffee in the room, and the lady at the reception was so helpful.Thank you so much !! My favourite city and now a favourite hotel too.

Perfect location

No parking dedicated to the hotel guests. And breakfast was so-so (juices in particular were not good at all)

Good location and quite spacious. Good options for breakfast. Comfortable rooms and beds just the pillows very bad.

No coffee machine in the room, some of the staff can't communicate in English. We were staying 29-31 Dec for 31-1 we moved to a different hotel since the price became 50% higher and definitely not worth it.

I liked the location and the cleanliness.

Spacious, clean, and very comfortable rooms. The location was perfect for walking or using the tram

The location was nice, the bed and one staff (man) in the front desk who is very friendly and cheerful.

Staff was a tad unfriendly. Food on offer was limited and poor quality. I get that it wasnt a dinner destination but when you arrive late at an unknown destination it is nice to have options.

The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were quite accommodating, friendly, and fluent in English. I would recommend it anytime one is traveling to Freiburg and wants an uncomplicated stay.

The hotel was advertised as including parking. However, it turns out that the parking is not part of the hotel but rather public parking. The hotel has a special discount, but it does not cover overnights, which is essentially the only time we care about having a parking lot, and it needs to be covered personally. It is not expensive, but I find the information on the hotel's page misleading.

The location is perfect! Just close enough to the city center but in a quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was excellent in variety and taste! Room size was good and with a modern bathroom with a good shower.

The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, the mattress was thin and there were even plastic pieces coming out of the mattress, not even my 8-year old was able to sleep comfortably there. The pillows were also not comfortable, they didn’t provide the necessary support and were not anatomically adequate. All this made our nights at the hotel pretty miserable. The restaurant has only pizza as a meal option, which makes the hotel less convenient for a family with kids.

It was poorly signalised to go to the parking first and it was very bad highlighted which elevator to use in order to get to the hotel directly. Call for improvement please
