The bathroom had a bed smell and was difficult to use the shower reach by a step.

Perfect location to explore Freiburg! Walking distance to charming city center and university district. Loved the quaint hotel with friendly staff and perfect breakfast option on-site. Very much and bed and breakfast feel which we loved!

Close, walking distsnce to old town and historical monuments. Very Classy. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Great tv connections.

The breakfast was amazing! Besides a huge variety of quality choices (including lovely homemade jams), the breakfast area was lovely and the tables were set as for honored guests. The hotel is an easy walk to all the charms of the old city. Special thanks to delightful Salome', the multi-lingual university student who was working in the breakfast room.

The stairs were a bit difficult for the grandparents, but they provided an opportunity for the younger generations to help carry luggage. :-)

Roomy, quiet and clean

No lift/elevator. Hard for an older, slightly handicapped guy.

Nice historic building. Very well kept up. Breakfast was very nicely presented in a bright dining room.

Wonderful location, a place to store the bikes, fantastic croissants for breakfast (with gluten). Had gluten free bread on request.

We loved staying here so much! My husband and I had one room, and our two teenagers shared another room. The rooms were lovely and cozy. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We easily walked to the Christmas Market and the shopping area's. We would definitely come back!

There is nothing we did not like.

The room was stocked with complimentary tea/coffee and sparkling water. We didn’t use the mini bar but that was available. It was quiet.

Pillow quality. I found out after booking that I had to pay 18 Euro per day parking.

Lovely historic family run hotel close to the old town. They offer an underground car park across the road. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great location on the edge of downtown. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was buffet style and had some very good options. Would stay here again.

There was a mix up with the parking. One of the guests did not remove their car from the spot we had reserved. The staff were apologetic and had to give us parking at a nearby garage.

There is a sink, shoe chair, wardrobe, table and chairs in the room. It can be seen that the furniture is relatively old, but the sink should be new. The shared bathroom outside the room is also very new and clean. It is very comfortable overall. Although the room is small, it has everything you need.

It's a bit far from the city center, but it's not far away on foot. The single room is located in another building. When you come back at night, the lights will be dim. Solo travelers should pay attention to their own safety.

The room is of medium size, the breakfast is rich and varied, and the dining environment is warm and comfortable. The hotel staff were kind and friendly. They told us about delicious restaurants and called us a taxi. It was a great stay.

There is no elevator in the hotel, so it will be difficult for travelers with large luggage. There are several steps from the hotel entrance to the counter, and it's a bit hard to carry luggage.
