Clean, quiet location, good value and good service. The hotel manager Ms. Pallavi was very helpful. She went an extra mile by giving us a ride to the train station when there was a mix-up with the taxi.

Location is good, if travelling via trains.

There were ants in my room. And smelled of cigarettes

Great location a 5 minute walk from Margao railway station, but in a quiet neighbourhood with restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was clean, comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was good. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Mangal who checked us in very efficiently and gave us a restaurant recommendation for dinner and on our 2nd night there was a problem with our TV and he was very helpful in sorting out the problem so I was able to watch the cricket final.We will definitely stay at Relax on our future stopovers in Margao and highly recommend.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, spacious room, nice view, easy check in and out, wifi worked, could walk to the train station for early morning train.Con: there was a small slightly open window hidden behind the curtain with the handle broken off and impossible to close, wish I had noticed this during the day as lots of mosquitoes got in at night. Otherwise would have been perfect. Check the windows first!

It was clean and comfortable, near the railway station and a short ride to the beach. There was plenty staff were friendly and helpful, though their English was limited. They helped us get tuk-tuks to get to the beach and other places of interest.

It was close to the Madgaon station (5 minute walking distance) so that was great and we only stayed for a night since Madgaon wasnt our final station and our train arrived late at night. Front desk staff are super helpful and friendly! We got a bottle of water upon arrival and breakfast was okay.

Didnt seem like the cleanest place, or at least the interior of the rooms need to be updated (stains on walls and towels and sheets). We also arrived around midnight and there were so many barking dogs between the station and the hotel that we ended up having to take a taxi for the 2 minutes. This is obviously not the hotel's fault and the dogs werent a problem during the day.

Nice location next to train station if you have an early train. Generally clean and the staff is nice.

So Many Cockroaches. The bathroom is crawling with them. Seems like an easy fix and the place would be fine.

Really friendly staff. Good ambiance when arriving with chanting and calming music.

Although fun, the lift doors closed very quickly. And the breakfast was very basic.

I liked everything about this hotel, lovely staff, spotlessly clean, everything worked ! A short walk from the back side of the train station, very pleased !

The price I paid for one night. Room 407.There is no restaurant in the hotel, there was no tea, coffee, sugar in my room. Had to ask them for it. When it came, there was nothing to stir my tea with. The passage leading to my room was very poorly lit. There was a a big gap in the bathroom window from which I encountered mosquitoes. At the time of check out, which was around 8 am, I had to wake up the staff, who was sleeping on one of the sofas in the main lobby area just in front of the reception desk. A little disappointing for the price I paid through Booking.com.

The place is quiet and cozy. Elevator, air conditioning. Centralized location.

The hotel needs to pay much more attention to the details in order to boost the demand, especially among people that come from Europe and western countries.The walls must be repainted and maintained, a bar service with cold drinks would be welcome too. Could be a automatic vending machine.New furniture also, along with room safety locks.Western channels either in rooms and lobby would be welcome also. Employees should wear proper shoes, instead of personal flip flops.

Hotel was good, friendly staff. Train station is nearby, but notice the hotel is at the backside. To go to the front, you need to take a steep slope, which is not that easy with luggage.

We stayed here primarily for it's very close location to the train station (about a 5 minute walk) but it is also a very comfortable hotel - the room was clean, a good size and exactly what we needed for our one night stay. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something close to the train station.

Not far from Relax Holiday Home, I rented a scooter so I could easily transport myself to Goa and around.
