Very quite , nature and no one around total silence
The last part of the road is bad, they send pickup to picks up, 40 minutes ride which feels like 5-6 hours drive.
The forest vibe, The view.
Muddy water, Couldn't take a bath because the water wasn't clean
awesome property, the courteous staff, customer first approach, cleanliness. all aspects of a comfortable and leisure filled stay are provisioned with a quality service.
Foods variety can be increased to include local dishes
The nature you can feel around the hotel is great. Stuffs are well lectured and nice to customers, all the amenities and facilities are clean and neat. The room design is one of the best I have ever seen as kinds of hotels in mountainous area.
Only if you go by the taxi there it might be better you know that you should reach the point of parking point first, so that the stuff can come there to pick you up by their car.
The rooms are nice and big
The property is good but no activities to keep you engaged during the day.
Spacious rooms, but whatever I liked was far outweighed by what I did not.
The resort is very poorly managed. Every basic thing is a problem. They offer pickup for the last four kilometres but the signboard is too tiny to be visible. The phone network is lost way before you approach the place, so you cannot even inquire where their truck is parked. As for the road that leads to it, I would simply quote Captain Haddock: Billions of Blistering Barnacles!*@#!!The staff are totally untrained—I had a fall and hurt myself, and there was NO first aid. The manager, Oscar, was aware of it but instead of inquiring about my well-being, he sent a hamper containing biscuits and chips! He appeared the next day and readily agreed to offer a complimentary night's stay, admitting that there had indeed been lapses. He promised to send "first aid" which arrived much later in the form of a Dettol bottle with a few drops in it. There are no face towels or hand towels: the staff gaze at you cluelessly if you ask for one. A towel-rug on the polished wooden floor, which you are sure to skid on. Wet bathroom floor, thanks to the AC duct that empties itself there! There is absolutely nothing to do once you've admired the view from your room.AND they are charging you a bomb. I could go on and on but suffice it to say that the place is simply not fit to welcome guests at this time. They need to close down and get their act together. My sincere advice if you are planning to book: DON'T!
Staff is very much inexperience , breakfast was not upto mark as per the rates charges & also to mention wifi connectivity.
Room & veiw from the room, its best so far among all the travels i have made till date.
The room and the view was exactly like shown in the pictures so we were very happy with that...the manager oscar went over and above to help out in everyway possible...first class service for our entire stay from him..the food is tasty as well..but not all dishes are available on weekdays..would like a little more entertainment in the place...it gets a bit boring if you were to go as a couple for more than one night..one complain was that the water in the place is hard water so everytime we filled the bathtub it looked like dirty water...I would hope the host looks into this
The fact that booking.com hides certain taxes and rates and makes you pay those at the time of checkout is extremelydisappointing...very bad service from the portals side...I hope arboreal can start it's own booking portal so that these money making sites don't cheat us
Resort is fairly new, The rooms, dining area and the path which leads to it is kept in a clean state. Prompt and energetic staff. Best part is the view, if u dont want to spend lots of money to visit Bali (Ubud), u can head here and get the same feeling. Surroundings are out of this world. There are few treks which we couldnt take, but could be worthwhile.Sound of the nearby waterfall and nature! This place is run by 1 man army called Oscar who is practically doing all the heavy lifting. Its good for couples without kids and possibly for a writer struggling with the ending of his novel.
Resort staff has not declared certain things properly which probably someone heading to this place needs to know. 1, There is a lot 5Kms severe off road stretch which u will have to take in resorts pickup truck, hence commute to and from the resort is a challenge.2, All rooms are raised above ground level and have to take minimum several steps, May be 30-40 easily if u get room on the top floor. 3, The pool (which is more like a pond) (specially during monsoon) has lot of bugs. Interested residents can however still take a dip.4, No other recreation facility5, Passage to dining area was inadequately lit and is basically slabs of stones kept one after another. 6, No rest rooms near the dining area, only rest rooms residents have are in their room.7, For insects the room doors need to be closed at night, however since the washroom is partly open to nature with no net/mesh, flys and insects still find their way in. 8, Area around the accomodation block and meal area is pure jungle and isn't developed at all, no landscaping done, No proper walkway. This is probably due to some clearances from govt which still pending. To sum up, Kids and Senior citizens will have issues due to above mentioned reasons. It's basically for someone who likes to be in nature and likes to be in the room for most of the time. Resort owner should spend some more time to declare the facts in detail so that travellers are better informed and to avoid any unpleasant review from uninformed travellers.FYI, if u love your car even a bit, Listen to Oscar and use the pickup truck for the last 5kms off road stretch. Reaident cars can be parked at their parking area off the road.Staff other than Oscar are a bit clueless. Need more training.
Its a brand new resort with excellent location. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. It offers exquisite view with plush green surrounding. Breakfast is decent enough with multiple options which you don't regret. You should take a cab to travel to the resort.
location is next level !
Given it was just week 2 of operations food menu could be better - nevertheless taste of food was amazing
Stay and food was fabulous. Location is just perfect. Hospitality was best.
In the morning no one was there for room service for more than an hour.
Jungle location.
The food spread during breakfast was extremely limited.
Views from the room are truly fantastic!
