    Pros +

    • Good location, breakfast was good, and staff was friendly.
    • Food:One of us has some intolerances. A few days before arrival, we received an e-mail from the hotel asking about specific food requirements. While they were not able to find everything we would have liked, they made a notable effort to provide us with food that we could tolerate. This was a large contrast to two hotels in Mumbai in a very similar price range, who basically ignored the request. We are also both not used to Indian food, but had no issue finding food at the breakfast buffet which we liked and was not too spicy for us.There is a 5 o'clock tea every afternoon, and when we did not show up one day, staff called our room phone and brought us chai masala and two lovely plates of food, to our room, at no charge -- how nice!Right next to the hotel is a food court, and while the menu (even at Domino's Pizza) has virtually nothing that doesn't qualify as "hot" in northern Europe, everyone there was also very friendly, helpful, and tolerant of our requests. The Room:The room was larger than expected, the bed comfy, and there was an actual table of decent size, on which one could comfortable write or work on a laptop. Also not something we saw in the to other hotels we stayed at during our journey to Mumbai and Lonavla. Most important for us: The air conditioning unit was not aimed at the bed but was blowing cool air out of the small corridor next to the bathroom, towards the bed. This is *amazing* in hot nights because we don't tolerate draft very well, and this way we could have some cool air in the room without waking up with a headache. The lowest setting of the ventilation system is also fairly quiet, which is another bonus. The eating area: Very relaxed place, even with table tennis!Staff:Not everyone spoke English too well, but we still found it easy to communicate with them.
    • Peaceful location, specious rooms, friendly and smiley staff

    Cons -

    • The hotel facilities have a dated, slightly unkempt look, particularly in terms of rain damage to the building. The elevator was rickety and dangerous.
    • We don't usually use hotel pools, and this one looked like it could have been cleaned a bit more often. On the other hand: There were very few other guests, and we saw the pool get used maybe three times during a whole week. I suppose they'd clean it more often if it actually saw some use. There was only a single ball for table tennis with a small crack, which meant that it did not bounce properly. The paddles were also old, which does not bother me because this is a hotel and not a sports centre. New balls would have been nice, though.
    • WiFi sometimes fluctuates but never mind. If they upgrade to Smart tv nothing like thatIf you are planning to go without your own vehicle - just don’t plan for Lonavala. They have cab mafias

Helpful staff, nice rooms, good breakfast, loved complimentary afternoon tea.

Extra security, where they do more checking than the international airports. They even checked if we had the correct visa for the duration of our stay!!

Staff is too slow, system outdated.Took them an our to complete checking

Will never consider this hotel again

Definitely NOT a boutique hotel. Dingy looking, dining room looked like an elementary school lunch room, nothing looked clean; I burned my finger on the hot water pot. Dust on the walls. Upon check in I had to ask for toilet paper…imagine that! I might have been one of 3 guests in the entire hotel. Front desk looked like a motel. Check in was cumbersome.

Our recent trip to Lonavala was wonderful. Triose is about 1 km from the station, and we enjoyed walking through the village and small lanes. The place is calm and serene with many flowering and fruiting trees that attract birds, making it perfect for bird watchers. The food was good, and their commitment to the environment is commendable. The property has ample parking for those with vehicles. The swimming pool was warm, which added to our enjoyment. They also offer indoor games and have a good collection of novels. There is a mall within the compound with a food court and a few good restaurants, ideal for a calm dinner. The property is opposite Lonavala Lake, providing beautiful views. The rooms have 15-foot ceilings and are aesthetically designed.Overall, it was a great stay and one of the best we have experienced in Lonavala so far.

Triose is one of the best hotels I've ever been to. Great food, amazing room and the main highlight is right from the start when you enter the hotel and till the time you leave the place, you'll always be greeted with smiling faces.

Nice clean property with great staff. They also have a cinema

    9UmmiePosted on: 2-25-2024

The staff was very humble and honest. They were very friendly and nice to their guests. Moreover, the facilities were excellent and the view from the room was breathtaking. They also provide breakfast which was hygienic and delicious in taste, they offer many items in breakfast which is enough. You can enjoy your holidays with your family or friends soulfully.

    9SavitaPosted on: 1-14-2024

Very clean and exceptionally hygienic. The staff were very professional and friendly. The high tea was a bit low as we were served with not so interesting snacks. The breakfast buffet was great. They had served a huge spread of south indian breakfast and all items were tasting good. The location is away from the center, which may be a little bit of a challenge if you do not have your own transport.

    3DaraPosted on: 1-9-2024

Arrived early morning the reception does not have any clue in what was communicated to the hotel in mail. And he cannot communicate in English and we are not able to understand Hindi. He was calling some one in the phone and gave the room. In the site it shows we can pay at the hotel once you hook you will get a mail saying you have to pay else they will cancel the room. Hence we careful when you book with them.

The way the staff can treat you. They should change in the booking that they need money in advance instead pay at property. When they have the credit card details why they should send a mail asking for advance payment

this hotel is a hidden gem in Lonavala, great service, friendly staff, comfortable stay. everything syncs perfectly. good choice of spread for breakfast and dinner. the staff members are very courteous. GM, Mr Basu is a fine example of an amazing hotelier. the services are on par with some five star hotels that we have stayed

didn't have any reasons for complaining
