Blue City Boutique Hotel

The location was great and the room very spacious. Very friendly staff.

There was too much noise coming from the outside into the room. The windows are not very sound proofed.

Easy to find, right by the train station - great location, and as a business hotel it does exactly what it should. The lobby is nice and welcoming, so is the team.

From the very first moment, the warmth of the atmosphere and attention to detail envelop you, creating a sense of comfort and familiarity. The ambience is marked by a charming stage that adds a touch of charm to your stay, while the rooms, though not lavish, provide a tranquil and comfortable retreat. However, the highlight is the genuine and friendly service from the staff, who strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Allocation is great, just in front of the TRAFO convention centre and a 2-minute walk from the train station.

Probably something expensive

I liked the welcome, the lady at the reception was very kind and smiling and also offered us a welcome drink. The room was clean and had all necessary amenities, although I expected it to be a little bigger from the photos. Breakfast was good although they started to put things away at 9.50 already (end time was 10). Also the position is great, we walked everywhere. Lastly, checkout at 12 is a nice plus!

I didn’t like the fact that they started to put breakfast away a few minutes before 10 already, we felt like we had to rush.

restaurant closed and no info… team not really friendly… no terrasse (work) with no information again… and 2 nights and my room was not done the second day….

Nice building, place, rooms, position, staff.

The air conditioning pipe that was positioned to push hot air outside of the window forced the window to stay open, with just a small tent to isolate from the ourside noise (and the train station is noisy)

Excellent location. Meals in restaurant good.

Lack of staff. Breakfast totally self-service (completely reliant on machines which didn't always work) with no staff to help. Temporary air conditioning unit in room which you had to have the window open in order to operate. This resulted in hearing the busy traffic noise below . Lack of security as reception not always staffed.

Centrally located hotel with spacious rooms

Can be a little noisy depending on location of room. Took a long time to be served in the bar even though it was not busy and barman was rude

The rooms were large and the hotel is very central

It can be noisy as it is next to the train station.The staff in general were helpful and friendly however we had an unpleasant experience with one of the barman who was very rude and aggressive

Extremely bad

Seriously bad. The receptionist told us to park immediately outside the hotel in one of two spaces, removing the locked post of the parking space. About 10:15pm, when asleep in our room, a man called Ivan (night staff) was banging on our door. I got out of bed to speak to him. He demanded that we move our car immediately, as another guest had reserved the car parking space. I told him we had been out for dinner and had been drinking alcohol, and I could not move the car. He still demanded I moved the car, and suggested he would drive the car somewhere. I would not give the keys to my Maserati filled with personal belongings to a stranger in the middle of the night. He said he would speak to his manager and would be back to speak to me again. He did not come back, but 20 minutes later, we were again woken up by the Receptionist calling us on the telephone. She did not know of our discussion with Ivan. We had a very disturbed night following all this. I moved my car at 7:00 am in the morning. We were very annoyed by the behaviour of the hotel staff

Staff were ok at dinner. Food was better than expected

It was very noisy from the road. The air con was laughable ( a hose out the window with a portable air con unit, which allowed even more road noise.)It wasn’t feasible to go anywhere from the hotel. I am a wheelchair user.

The rooms where big with comfortable beds

That the wall to the bathroom was glass with a sheer curtain. No privacy at all.

The hotel is really nice and well equipped. Room was really confortable and with good space. Quite close to services and to the city center.

the staff was very nice

I don't understand how it is possible to make these mistakes, I paid for the suite and I found myself in a hovel, with dirty dishes, detached curtains, a not very clean room, without tea and an empty mini-bar. I was quite shocked

The team was amazing. It felt like home. The room was big, comfortable, with everything needed.

Location, the large room and bathroom and…the breakfast which I always enjoy
