About

Located in the heart of Orléans, just a stone’s throw from Place du Martroi, the Urban Jungle Hotel Orléans is a 10-minute walk from the train station and 328 feet from the République tram stop—an ideal location between the train station and the old town. This eco-friendly hotel offers 33 unique rooms, each designed by our interior architect, all equipped with a private bathroom, telephone, free Wi-Fi, and satellite TV, and accessible by elevator. Every morning, an organic and locally sourced breakfast is served in the dining room: bread from a “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” (Cordier), homemade yogurt and pastries, and organic jams. The neighborhood around the hotel is full of restaurants and bars, just a stone’s throw from the cathedral and the historic center. Our guests enjoy a preferential rate of €17/24 hours (instead of €32) at the nearby Martroi parking garage (free street parking from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m.), as well as a secure bike storage area. A night watchman is on duty 24 hours a day for your peace of mind. The Urban Jungle Hotel Orléans is also an ideal starting point for exploring the Loire Valley, with its castles, cathedrals, and lush parks. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

    Halls are very dark

Nice reception and location. Parking not far away.

Room was a bit small for 3. Showed some aging especially bathroom. Cleaning could be better-used water bottle found on the floor by bed. Breakfast good but could have more variety like scrambled instead of hard boiled eggs.

Very central, helpful friendly staff, fun decor and all the facilities you need from a city hotel.

    8MichelePosted on: 1-29-2025

The hotel room was nice, but not so large. Breakfast was awesome, with many delicious fruits, cheese, jams...Staff was also very accommodating and kind.

Some more room to move around the bed and for opening the bag. WiFi sometime disconnected.

The hotel is in a beautifully renovated building. The name "Urban Jungle" is a little unfortunate--I would describe it as more as having an understated elegance. (I didn't feel that I was in a jungle, urban or otherwise. Oh, and by the way, that is a good thing!) The dining room for breakfast is beautiful and there were lots of options. The room, although a little on the small side, was very comfortable and well-laid out. The location in the center of Orleans was perfect for everything we wanted to do.

    Nothing I didn't like.

Really friendly, helpful, and knowledgable staff who knew the area. Great location for exploring Orleans. Clean, well presented, well lit. Good range of breakfast options.

Fitness room small and limited, but not too unusual for a hotel. The lift was a little cramped.

    Staff, location, breakfast.

    Parking cost was expensive.

    Excellent staff, location and breakfast.

Parking although discounted was expensive at E15.

    10PlewsPosted on: 9-13-2024

Very welcoming with comfortable rooms. Excellent location with great parking rates at a nearby car park.

Lack of air con, however the ceiling fan does take the edge off. We stayed in August and it was very hot.

    3GodfriedPosted on: 9-11-2024

The staff is friendly, the location is very good and overall this seems to be a very good hotel, and I expect that it probably is most of the time.

However, the night we stayed there (a Monday night) there was loud music (I guess there is a nightclub or something nearby) until 06.00 in the morning. So, I basically did not sleep at all, which for a hotel stay is not great...
