Pros +
- Location. Seemed safe walking to at night from the cathedral. Close to great Saturday nightlife.

- Friendly staff, free parking inside the hotel court, and located at a few minutes walk from the city center. Price tag is very decent for the location and the room was also agreeable, though quite hot at night (we caught the end of the heat wave in France, so it's quite normal, but no AC if I remember correctly. The room window opened on a huge terrace shared between 4 other rooms, so it was absolutely great for our daughters to play while we were getting ready to go out.And going out we went: Orleans is simply put the beautifulest city I have been to in France: it has everything other cities have, at the same scale, but everything within walkable distance: we were strolling the streets after way past midnight and the ambiance was just amazing. Absolutely stunning city, full of mixes and contrasts. We will go back, and often.
Cons -
- Desk lady had limited English but helpful
- Wifi was dreadfully. No shower, bath. seperate toilet, but glad I'm not a really big person, it was cramped.
- Well the hotel is very old, the rooms were quite outdated: bathtub with a very short shower cord, very few electrical plugs etc, but it's compensated by the location tbh. I would go back to this hotel without batting an eye.

This is a 2 star hotel and that's what we got. Nothing more and nothing less. Comfortable bed,,warm, clean room with plenty of lights. Good location, interesting history.
The towels were very rough (but clean with a variety of sizes)
Very convenient location.
No plug for the bath. A means of attaching the shower head at head height (not difficult or expensive) would enable a shower. Controls on electric heaters not easy to understand (but they work well).
I didn't really deal with the staff, but they were lovely. The rooms were clean. None of the normal issues of hot water, it was quick and had good pressure. The addition of soap/shower gel was welcome as I had flown in. Plenty of towels. Arriving late the first night, there was no problem summoning someone to let us in.
The whole establishment was in need of an injection of cash. Carpets (tiles) were clean but stained and curling at the edges. I think that visually this was the most striking thing to undermine a good overall impression. The room had a really adequate shower, but with no curtain/screen, which meant being careful not to soak the floor. Bedding was again adequate but aged. There were no instructions for heating. One light switch didn't seem to work anything.
Secure parking for motorbikes (see later). 5min walk to centre and restaurants, cathedral. It's in a time warp, but location and parking in centre is great.
Jackotel please cut back the bushes In front of the reception...you park motorbikes there but it is dangerous because we can't see big branches, my husband broke a mirror..The breakfast is not worth 10e pp...no juice, no yoghurt, no meats - 1 bread,1 croissant and jams poor. We travelled all over France/Italy and Greece this time and this breakfast was the worst.. sorry jackotel.
The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate. We were fortunate to get a parking space and appreciated a secured area.
It all looked impoverished, as if it needed money spending on decoration, fittings and a general smartening up.
Fantastic location in the city in a beautiful leafy square, close to many places to eat and easy walking to all the sites. Very handy to have private parking and also that dogs are welcome. A characterful breakfast room.
It's a basic hotel and would need a lot of money spent to modernise it but it's inexpensive so can't really complain. There is no proper shower – you have to hold the showerhead in your hand and squat or kneel in the bath. The breakfast is basic, but again not expensive.
Beautiful location, had a room with a view. It even has a lift. The room was large enough , bed comfortable, ensuite had a bidet, a first on this trip.
Free parking. Great value for money and very clean. The staff were helpful and spoke some English.
It was looking a little tired and could do with a bit of modernising but this still would not stop us from returning if passing through.
Handy place to stay, near cafes bars bistros etc, right on the river Loire. Nice staff, the hotel offres value.
Needs a little updating.
Great central location, parking, motorcyle friendly, nice staff
Could do with a shower curtain or guard!
Excellent location on elegant tree-lined and quiet square just back from the river, close to the pedestrianised Old Town with its bars and eateries. Free parking very useful indeed in this area. Comfortable room on second floor with velux window; neither too hot nor too cold, bed was fine. The wifi worked well.
No shower cubical, just shower attachment in small bath - though it worked OK. No ceiling light and the main room light was on the desk and linked to a switch back by the door, which was not very intuitive. Towels a bit thin; two very small sachets of shower gel/shampoo not so generous.
Central position
The WiFi is bad and the GSM is not great
The location was perfect for our needs and was only a very short comfortable walk to the center where all the food and drink was available. The room was ok for an overnight stay. Parking was a little restricted but we managed to park our bikes and knowing that they are secure and safe is a big bonus.
The room was dated and in my room the bathroom light didn't work and the toilet was broken ( I did manage to fix it but not properly) Breakfast was not what we expected and apart from the coffee machine was not good value for money.
Location is excellent for a short stay. The room is basic but everything works, even has a bath. There is parking but it is limited and a little tight if all the spaces are taken. The breakfast is very nice, and available from 7 am which is great if you need to get away fast.
Room was hot (July) and no aircon. Clearly overall the place needs money spent and can't claim to be luxury, but in my opinion as a stop over hotel close to the city centre it is perfectly fine.
Good location with parking close to centre. Private parking on site and dog was allowed to stay
Hard to find from postcode because of roadworks
Friendly, excellent location, could sleep with the window open All night, without noise. Easy, secure bike lock up
The place is a bit tired and dated I suppose
Always stay here when in the area. Very old hotel but clean and comfy x excellent location 3 mins walk to the centre.
