Staff went beyond expectations

As with virtually all the hotels we stayed in whilst in France the staff were an absolute credit to their organisation. Friendly and helpful. They allocated us to a very nice room at the top of the hotel, but sadly it was a little noisy for us. They let us change rooms without any fuss, and could not have been lovelier.

I like an opening window, so it was a little airless and stuffy for us. This is - I suspect - a matter of taste so I don't think it was a big deal. Orleans is a nice town, and this hotel was well situated to explore it.

Very good location next to the central station and close to the centre. For the parking we needed additional instructions as the hotel is located in the pedestrian zone.

Staff (Victoria was superb)and location. Pool and sauna.

Parking fee. Room possibly not ‘executive’ regarding price!

The side of first floor facing the railway station is sometimes noisy and people often smoke near entrance - you cannot open the window without getting smoke in. Better upped floors

Location , staff and restaurant

The cramped room. Booked a superior for space but so cramped!! Definitely not a superior should be a single. Couldn’t easily walk around the room. Nothing like the picture- the bed side table didn’t even fit on one side of the bed properly ,the room was so small that the small table only had one chair as two wouldn’t fit - even though it’s a room for two?? Where’s does the other person sit??? It’s not value for money - shame as the location is great!

The hotel was very clean and the room was warm and comfortable. The en-suite bathroom and toilet was clean and tidy.

The location of the hotel is a nightmare to reach by car. We didn’t know how to access the underground car park from the main road as there was a sign saying no right turn. After several very stressful attempts we managed to locate a private entrance to the hotel via a pedestrian zone which was all very confusing and not safe to drive. Better instructions on how to access the underground car park would have made things so much easier.

THe friendly staff and warm greetings. Convenient location. Sound proofing of the room. The sauna was good but the pool could be warmer. We really enjoyed our stay!

Clean room, good location

The hotel’s parking was busy, and we spend ah hour searching for the available parking.The staff gave us a card that didn’t work, and we had to go back to the reception as we were unable to enter our room. Later, the late evening when we were sleeping we heard that someone opened our door and entered our room. The hotel’s staff had apparently made a mistake, and the reservation was doubled. Later, when we trying to fall asleep again, the telephone rang, and the receptionist asked for our names. As a result, we didn’t sleep well.In the morning, when we went back to the room after breakfast, we found that the card wasn’t working again, so we have to go to the reception for the second time with the same problem.

Central location. Nice pool and sauna. Comfortable room

Access by car to the garage was not explained well and is confusing. You need to turn off the main road to a pedestrian area blocked by bollards and then press the bottom buzzer on an access control to have the bollards recede. The hotel is then 159 metres in the right across the tram tracks

Not being able to stay longer !

location

There are noises and a bad smell coming from the windows in the yard. In addition to that there is a sewer bad smell coming from the hallway. The bed is small, short and narrow. The room is generally very small and there for uncomfortable.

In town

Parking confusing, toilet separate from bathroom and has no tap. Therefore, have to move to other bathroom to wash hands.

Location

Parking is very limited and not reservable. Alternative parking is either public ( close by) but not secure and i would imagine always full. The other option is 1 km away but secure

Hotel was fine but Orleans...

We only stayed in Orleans for two nights on way home - one night would be enough - not much to do.

Not much...

In the first place in the past, I knew Novotel has the same quality wherever it is, but now I booked Novotel Orleans Gare, I was disappointed. In the message sent to me after booking, nothing was mentioned how to arrive at the hotel. The hotel is situated at the sidewalk, so not possible to enter the road where the hotel is. We had to drive around 3 times before we could find a parking in the neighbourhood of the hotel and the rest we had to walk with our luggage.Upon arrival, we were not happy with the appearance of the reception. Very unattractive to see with only one small desk in a corner.The poor variety of choice at the breakfast table. Not even a fresh orange juice. We were told the supplier did not deliver on time!

the location

We had to rebook due to a booking error our end. Staff were not understanding. On arrival the rooms are ok, but just one tea bag - why bother if you're only leaving one - mean!Breakfast was awful - not even a plain yogurt available just some poor quality fruit yogurts in plastic pots. Given the price you should expect more.

Very close to town centre with good parking underground

Not easy to find.
