ibis Orleans Centre Gare

Central location secure on site bicycle parking good breakfast options friendly helpful staff

Entrance door bit difficult to spot immediately from street

Staff were all friendly, helpful and a delight to deal with, putting customer satisfaction first and foremost. Choice at breakfast was first class as can only be guaranteed at French hotels.

More on site, secure parking

Location allows you to easily get to the major sites while being close to the train station. The breakfast buffet was very good, the level of air conditioning good and the noise level low. The curtains protected against the light adequately and the bed was nice and hard like I like it.

This is not the hotel's fault but it is located in a bit of a shady area so best to walk with a determined pace to get to the hotel at night.

Close to train station. Very good. Breakfast and friendly staff.

The air cooler did not work. It was more like a fan. And opening the window there was a lot of car traffic, train traffic and people noise. All night!! Very uncomfortable for sleeping.

Great location very comfortable and clean. Staff accommodating

Close to train station and centre

Breakfast was not great

Clean and nice rooms, staff was so helpful. Situated opposite to the train station.

Excellent location if arriving by train while about 15 minute walk to the city centre. Hotel looked after bags during the day after checkout.

Room quite small but adequate. I couldn’t cool down the room with the aircon. No place to unpack clothes into but that seems to be usual these days

Ideally situated right next to the train station. The city center is just a ten minute walk away. Clean room, reasonably good breakfast. Would stay here again.

No complaints. Staff was business-like, but not actively unfriendly.

Very convenient stopover. Clean and comfortable.

No kettle in the room!

The only inconveniences you may take into account were noise due to the proximity of the station and the lack of space to work (with 2 people in the room). Other than that, everything is ok! Possibility to have breakfast from 4 am with early booking. The staff were very helpful!

Excellent location just in front of the main train station, quiet room and a comfy bed, however not enough space for personal belongings.

Small room and only big towels in the bathroom.

Close to train line. Breakfast great. Friendly staff

Good location near trains and trams. Quiet. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good, nice choice of teas. We liked the attractive decor. Room and bathroom were nice and clean, shower was good.

Very little storage for small items (no drawers for example). No safe in room. The toilet door hit the bed. Only one bedside table, had to borrow another which we had to return before the end of our stay.

It was a convenient location for the city centre and accommodated the dogs. Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance.

Would be nice to have a bigger bar and restaurant but they couldn’t really expand that

Great location, nice staff, clean, comfortable

I wish the room was bigger

I find Ibis hotels are always reliable, clean, secure, well located near transportation hubs, offering big, diverse, fresh breakfast, always fresh baked bread including whole grain breads, always comfortable beds. The Ibis Orleans Gare is no exception, While not a luxury hotel it does provide excellent value and secure comfort right across the street from the train station. There is a parking lot next to the train station where you can return rental cars thus avoiding heavy and confusing traffic around Paris or Charles de Gaulle airport and permitting easier access to the city and airport by train. I believe bicycle rental is also possible through the hotel for those wishing to bike along the Loire river. There are good restaurants about ten minutes walking around the main town square.

It was raining and Monday so the museums were closed.

Location to train station and proximity to centre was perfect, people were friendly and helpful.
