The hotel was in good location.

The loby , restaurant looked very good, the rooms were not as nice .

Room a little dark

Really liked this hotel, super friendly and helpful staff. Great location for exploring the city.We dined in the restaurant and had a very enjoyable meal and drink.Great balcony with a view of the river, the traffic noise didn’t bother us.EV parking area too.

Nothing, it was just right for our needs

Great location within walking distance of the city. Great view over the river from my rooms balcony. Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Good value for money, location, overall comfort. It seems to be refurbished and the room was cozy. Shower was clean and comfortable too. Dinner was decent for the price, service was very friendly. Breakfast was delivered to room on time and exactly as ordered, it was delicious too. There was a Yamaha self playing piano that was adding to the pleasant reception atmosphere, classic music was welcome too.

While reception area smells nice, our floor had no parfume and it was an unpleasant contrast, the smell was industrial and repulsive. This is a cheap small thing to fix and is a real oversight by the management. Reception staff were not very friendly, although professional. Some smiles and friendliness won't hurt anyone.

The hotel had a fantastic reception/sitting area and the restaurant area was beautiful only had breakfast in there but had a very good variety of breakfast items hot and cold. It was raining when we were there but the outside pool and sitting area looked really good

We stayed in a room that had all facilities but was very tired. I think that they maybe updating appeared to be work going on so maybe just was put in one of the old rooms

Easy to find with secure parking, close to town and excellent facility’s if wanting to stay put.

Using single use cups is not acceptable especially in 2025. The bathrooms need more light

Inside the hotel was beautiful, very clean

Food in the restaurant was poor, although the staff were excellent. Was unaware that there was work being carried out at the hotel on the top floors, but was no disruption, just a shame about scaffolding on the front of the hotel

Car park had a barrier at night time. Great location, short walk to the center along the river. Clean and well presented rooms.

Entrance ramp was very steep and short - exit ramp was ok.

Lovely staff, good location, good parking. Nice breakfast.

Drinks prices in the hotel were too high evidenced by very few people using the bar facility.

The front desk staff were lovely, so helpful, and really tried their best to help every time. The hotel was a little more of a walk from in town than we expected but overall a pretty good location - and the walk into town was along the banks of the Loire so not a bad thing really!!The room was okay, in need of a refurb but obviously this is an ongoing process and, to be fair, someone has to have the rooms they've not got to yet! Just a shame they charge the same rate for rooms that are shabby in comparison with others. The restaurant serves some lovely food, small portions but beautifully cooked and presented. There is also a limited children's menu which is a nice touch in a restaurant like this.The newly refurbished areas look really smart, and the lounge/bar area was nice to sit in, although not a great layout for larger groups. There was a terrace outside as well which was a mix of bar and restaurant.

We booked this hotel for the pool as a treat for the kids - pool was apparently over chlorinated and couldn't be used. However looking at it it was tinged green and absolutely filthy looking so would suggest they perhaps have bigger problems than chlorine! Front desk were really apologetic and did do us free parking for the two nights we were there, but didn't really make up for the uplift in cost we chose to pay in order to have access to a pool.Room wasn't as great as it could have been, bits of food on the floor and sheets had odd (smallish) stains even though they were clearly laundered. Pillows were past their best as well, and the voiles didn't meet in the middle so had to unhook one side so people didn't see into our room during the day.We ate in the restaurant both nights and both nights they got the food wrong - although to their credit they did sort it without any fuss. The second night we also were abandoned half way through having our table cleared and by the time they came back to us our children were too tired to order the desert they had been wanting. Otherwise the food was lovely, so a real shame.Noise from the other rooms was incredible - this may be because we were in an un-refurbed room and they're maybe adding soundproofing as they work through, but wow, it sounded like a heard of wildebeest charging around

Nice staff, pretty lobby and comfortable beds.

Area was a little run down

Good location. Clean room. Comfortable sleep. Nice pool to cool off in. Ground floor bar is nice. Hotel a bit dated but clean and a mercure so perfect for a one night stopover.

Cost of breakfast. Skipped it not worth the money.
