It definitely met my expectations. It is really value for money. The breakfast was decent. The parking spot in the underground garage is really handy and easy to get in and out.

The walls are very thin, so I could hear everything from the next rooms.. like people coughing or other alarm clocks going.

Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped for short stays. The staff is extremely friendly!

Bed

Very clean room, comfortable bed. Even though the hotel is close to railway and street, at night is not that bad, I sleept very good. Floor down is a pub so you can grab a beer or drink when you need!

Room quality and comfort quite different than shown in photos.

Breakfast should be improved. Fruit not fresh.

I do t recomend this Hostal .not a hotelThey do not have parking they charge you 10 euros more . The room is not clean. And there is no staff at the hostal the room is very small . Plus you can not sleep as this Hostal is very close to the train station so every 10 min pass a train close and the noise is just insupportable. Definitely bad experience ?

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Room was super cute and the bar downstairs was amazing. Thanks again Simon for being so welcoming!

Very friendly atmosphere Staff go the extra mile ( or kilometre!) to make one feel at home Great pub attached to the hotel, but noise does not intrude into hotel Location is perfect base for exploring the "3 countries area" D/CH/F Easily accessible by public transport from Basel Airport Clean and tastefully ,individually decorated rooms.

Very close to down town basel. Train stop is 1 min away and the hotel is 10 min train ride to basel bad train station. Trains are every 30 min. The town itself has a very lively center with many shops, restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Burger in the bar was delicious as well

The noise of the train can be disturbing. An extra pillow on the bed would have been great

The room and bathroom were fine. Staff was friendly and breakfast was small but complete and delicious.

It was not immediately clear where the parking was and the roads around the hotel were really busy and it was difficult to park nearby. We first had to park the car within a 10-minute walk, check in to get an explanation about the parking and entry ticket, walk back to the car and then we could really park.

Very practical solution for a short stay. There is a well equipped and sized kitchen that is very convenient and comfortable.The garage with direct access to the property is a great deal.The service is pretty well automated so the partial personal service is no issue.The location is very good with a supermarket right beside it and the main train station within walking distance.The staff was friendly and helpful.

However well equipped, the room was rather too small for long stays. Nonetheless within expectations given the rates.The train station and a the crossover it are right in front of the property making noisy traffic an issue specially during the day.
