Hotel Garni Alte Post

Quiet relaxed location you really can sleep and rest during the night. Just a few min from the Base Euro Airport by car. Love it

Breakfast could have been more versatile.

The staff was very understanding and let us checkin after 10 knowing that this isn’t allowed. It was clean w quiet and the breakfast was good. It was a good night sleep after a long drive. And the location was a very short drive from Basel airport.

Very friendly staff, super super clean and well kept and very comfy beds. I recommend it! Nice and quiet location and good breakfast.

Property is located in a quiet area near the main street close to wine yard, has been a very pleasant stay, staff were extremely friendly and helpful!

Perfect hotel, great owner, super breakfast - and a wonderful area

All fine here ?

Nice place on our way to Zwitserland. Clean and very quiet, still, close to the highway. Thee and coffee available on the hallway outside the room 24/24. Very nice, helpful and friendly owner. We’ve even got 2 bottles of water for on the way when we left.

Breakfast was great, with real coffee and the wintergarden at the back was a nice place to sit and read and make a cup of tea. Bed is very comfortable, room was the right temperature, shower great.

Not having a 3rd night

Nice staff and not a problem at all that we were stuck in traffic and arrived late. Very quiet area, comfortable beds and nice people.

Shower still had some stuff of the last people that stayed but perhaps just forgotten to check/clean, as everything else was nice and clean.

Very friendly host, nice room, good price near Swiss border.

Spacious, clean room with everything you need. Nice staff who work with enthusiasm. Attractive price.

Great, clean room with decent wifi and good shower. Parking right outside the property - I could see my car from the balcony. Good breakfast. Friendly owner. The owner offered another double room next to reception should I not like the single room - I liked the single room better!

Slightly high price for the single room

It was very clean, Very big rooms and very quiet the employee was very kind and helpful

Breakfast it was a little bit poor and the didn’t refill the shampoo every day.

Comfy, new bed. Quiet. Relatively close to highway. Very clean. Good value. Friendly manager.

Few dinner options in town, esp. innoff season or on Monday or Tuesday. If you arrive late, best bring your dinner or have it before going to hotel.

This Hotel is perfect for a stop when you drive to Italy or Swiss or back home , the naberhood is very beatifull It is on a quiet place so we sleep very good , the owner is very friendly and helpfull the rooms are very clean and in the morning you hear nothing but birds singing , the breakfast is nice with a very good coffee , we arrived very late 04:00 because of bad wheater but the owner wait us to invite us and cleaned the snow away so we can park our car !

It has a friendly host. It is quiet and cosy there. I liked the breakfast options.

Nice play for one night if you need to stop close to the highway. The rooms are big, quite. A good sofa bed, and temperature.

Wifi does not work in the rooms. The breakfast is really bad. The coffee good, but the rest of the things are old or bad quality. If you have the room in the third floor there is no elevator.

A lovely quiet village, in beautiful countryside. The hotel room was as expected, but very clean and comfortable with a good shower. The host was super helpful and we highly recommend staying here.

Lovely host, nice and clean room. The location is good and offers nice views over neighbouring towns and cities.

The breakfast was nice but the bread was not very fresh and a little stale.

Buy box for the keys.

I’ve booked hotel, but reception works till 22.00. I asked to leave the key in a box for keys. It was not possible. I canceled the booking 2 min after the reservation and call to reception. I was not able to refund the payment.

Very good location, quiet, easy access to major roads
