Koh Munnork Private Island

the beach, the sea and the nature around simply amazing, very beautiful secluded place

the service was really bare minimum, almost no english spoken by the staff and they are not paying much attention to the customers. for 7500 baht a night I was expecting a different type of service! the water of the pool was really dirty. I would go back only for half of the price! I dont think the value exceeds 4000 baht a night

As it's a private island, you will feel secluded and you can enjoy snorkeling in the ocean as much as your time allows.

The food in the restaurant isn't great when you compare to the price you have to pay. I wish the power generator runs until we check out from the room. It would be great if the hotel can offer private speed boat at a more affordable price to the guests. You have to wait until 3.00 PM (at least) to get on the boat to send you back to the mainland.

We could not have started our holiday at a better place - we could really relax and enjoy the beach. If you can choose a bungalow, choose J1, it feels like it has it own private beach and little pier with a straw roof where you can spend the whole day. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly and our rooms were cleaned every day. The boat takes about 45 minutes to the island. There is only one boat going to the island, so be on time. We loved every moment on the island and we will most definitely return to this tiny island where you can have peace and quiet.

The cozy, atmosphere, and the simply of accommodation are unique for this private island.Their electricity period shutdown releases you to enjoy surrounding nature, peaceful beach, and more activity waiting you to explore!The room even bungalow for 4 people was also exceptional for me and my friends (not sure the one that I stay got successfully renovated or not).

The poor communication when a rush hour comes such as dinner or lunch because of few staffs and they cannot respond us rapidly or maybe forget to serve your order if you don't ask them to serve it immediately when you has just arrived.

Beautiful Island, peaceful place to relax for a few days. Peacocks walking around. Swimming pool facing the water. Beach is beautiful and food is really good too. Cocktails are great!

If you go for a hike around the island you can see a fair bit of trash and rubbish, could be a bit well maintained on the inside, the front part is so clean and beautiful. A bit pricey for the age of the structure but worth the money for the experience.

It’s a private property in Koh Munnork Island. Very peaceful island and beautiful. It’s perfect place to escape from the city. All the staff are very friendly. I didn’t expect about the food in the hotel. Since we don’t have a choice to eat somewhere else but the food was delicious.

It’s a private island that’s why the electricity is limited. There is no electricity between 9am - 1pm

Koh Munnork exceeded our expectations (the photos don’t do it justice!) My partner and I had a beachfront bungalow, which was simple but perfect! His and hers sinks and an indoor and outdoor shower. We had stunning views of the sunrise and of the ocean. The white sandy beaches of koh munnork are spectacular. The food is great. We stayed for three nights - we we felt was enough. Would definitely recommend.

We’ve been there last year and it was so nice with full moon and we can see both sun rise and sun set by the sea. Staff are perfect. Room wasn’t that comfortable but it’s understandable on the Island. This time it was nice with good weather. We recommend this peaceful place which is not far from Bangkok.

Ventilation in the room shall be improved for more fresh air.

Ideal for a low-key holiday destination. The beachfront room was incredible with plenty of sunbathing spots and a shallow beach to chill. We took a 45mins walk around the island, amazing views but sadly a lot of rubbish on the hills. The food was authentic and tasty, the happy hour was a nice touch with the skilled bartender and delicious cocktails. Surprisingly no mosquitoes! We stayed on weekdays after the Thai public holiday so the place was half empty. Recommend staying during the low season.

Beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water Breakfast was great. Food was very tasty. Love every minute when I was there . If you plan to walk around the island bring the sneakers as some part of the trail is a bit hilly and it’s better to walk with the proper footwear.

Turned off power from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm!! This is very inconvenient since check out is 11:30 am. Tried to shower but it was so hot could not stop sweating. We were very uncomfortable during this time.

Warning for Koh Munnork Private Island Hotel. This hotel doesn't accept any ordinary European credit cards with a pin code connected to it. Their system is way outdated and not updated to most modern European countries credit card system.We were so badly treated byt this hotel! Their old credit card machine system failed and then they overcharged our room so had to pay overprice for our booked room - in cash! With no boat going back until next day we had no choice but to stay and pay the new price they demanded. We left this hotel the next day instead of staying for a week which we had originally planned. It was the worst hotel experience ever!So to all people travelling from Europe - don't go to this hotel without a lot of extra cash for the whole stay. Better to choose any other hotel to avoid being mestreated and disappointed.
