Rayong Resort Hotel

The view was amazing!1 Ocean view however the staff made it the Best!1 exceptional customer service, very happy and caring staff.

I would have enjoyed more activities on site. The only thing we did not enjoy was the boat ride to snorkel at the island. It was unclear there were extra charges once you got to the island. People were pretty much standing around. We could have snorkeled back at the resort and had better time. It would be great to buy or rent snorkel mask and fins for there, at resort and that would have been enjoyable. I do want to compliment that the manager was very sincere about wanting our experience to be enjoyable so she did her best to compensate for the bad experience.customer service that really does care.

This place has great location, beautiful view and environment. They have friendly staffs and helpful.

Room looks really old and not worth money that I paid for the room. Air condition wasn't working right and not getting cold enough in the room. First room that they gave me, air condition was broken and I had to request changing the room. All rooms need to renovade badly and also no phone in the room to call down to front desk when you need help. If you need anythings or have some problems about your room, you have to go down to the lobby to talk to the front desk. Not much varieties of foods for buffet breakfast. Signal for wifi wasn't good at all.

The furntiture is old and need to change They need to take care more of the place , the kayak zone and beach zona is abandoned totally and damged No service on the beach or beside the beach . The hotel is located in a unique location with private road to entry. Good facilities and staff are very helpful and friendly. pool was lovely. Food was nice.

Room was lovely but quite dated. Had to get taxi's to get to resort and in and out into ban pae 300 bhat each way. Felt that the hotel was only running at limited capacity as alot of bars, and facilities appeared to have closed down.

What a gem, a tropical dream. Beautiful bathing in the pools and in the ocean. Very picturesque place, and the thai food was super. The staff is so nice and easy to communicate with. Rooms are pretty basic, but the hotel is so much more. Nice walking path along the coast line. Highly recommend this peaceful place. Nothing outside the hotel is at a walking distance. Need a car or GRAB for shops and other restaurants.

Quiet, relaxing hotel resort on a headland at the national park. The hotel is very clean, our premier room was modern, very spacious, bathroom top and an excellent view from the room, with 24h sound of the sea waves and birds. Breakfast was a buffet with fresh fruits, vegetables etc. and all hot dishes could be ordered freshly prepared for you by the kitchen.You can walk (15...20') to the Sunset Point of the National Park, on a beautifully maintained coastal boardwalk and past hordes of wild, peaceful monkey families.

Those who don't want to have dinner at the hotel, can walk over the national park hill (30') to Rayong Beach, where there are simple restaurants and bars. With a little bit patience, you can get a Bolt Taxi back to the resort.

The view was absolutely stunning! There’s a beach which is basically a part of the resort, and the pier offers lovely views too. It was also easy to get to Koh Samet, and you are able to book this via the resort. The service was also brilliant, they really made the place feel like home.

Loved the location, easy beach and pool access. The breakfast was fantastic and staff so helpful.

We didn't realize how expensive the laundry service would be.

The location was perfect for us—secluded, quiet, and absolutely stunning. The views, the grounds, and the overall topology were fantastic. We stayed in a spacious room with two beds that received plenty of natural light. Facing the ocean, we enjoyed beautiful views and morning sunshine every day. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the room was equipped with a fridge.

The resort itself is in dire need of attention. There’s no spa, the menu is outdated, and the breakfast feels like it’s barely holding on. While the staff are pleasant, their service is minimal. For example, when we asked for two room keys at check-in, we were told it wasn’t possible, even though the room was clearly meant for two guests. The food is grossly overpriced for its quality, and the bar staff couldn’t even make a decent piña colada. To add to the disappointment, the beach gazebo was being used as a towel station.Some parts of the resort felt eerie—empty, outdated, and lifeless. It didn’t feel like a true resort, especially since we had to leave the premises to find decent meals, coffee, cocktails, or even a massage.We kept discussing how much potential this place has. With some love, an updated menu, and improved service quality, it could truly shine. As it stands, management seems indifferent to the issues guests repeatedly point out in reviews, leaving the impression that no one cares about the resort’s future.Despite this, we agreed we might return but would come prepared—bringing our own snacks, drinks, and other essentials. The issues aren’t the staff’s fault; it’s clear that the responsibility lies with management to address these concerns and invest in revitalizing the resort.

The resort, which has been around for some time, is well-maintained by its attentive staff and exudes a charming, colonial-inspired ambiance. Its sprawling layout features a variety of spaces to relax and explore, offering a sense of history and character rarely found in modern establishments.Upon our arrival on Christmas Eve, we were struck by how quiet the resort was—it almost felt as though we had the entire place to ourselves. Nestled beyond a small mountain range, the location feels wonderfully secluded, making the first few days of our stay feel more like a tranquil retreat than a bustling holiday resort.The staff were a highlight throughout, consistently warm and eager to help. They made booking excursions and offering local tips effortless. One of our favorite experiences was a boat trip to the idyllic island of Ko Samet, departing conveniently from the resort’s own pier. Another highlight was the resort’s private-feeling beach, which provided a serene backdrop for relaxation. For nature enthusiasts, we highly recommend a visit to the nearby Khao Laem Samet National Park—a true escape into Thailand’s natural beauty.While the resort had much to offer, we did find the food and beverage prices to be on the higher side. The inconsistency in pricing—such as a pizza costing more at dinner than at lunch—was particularly noticeable. That said, the breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. For other meals, we often opted to dine at local restaurants, and we’d like to give a special mention to Yummay Pizza, where we enjoyed authentic Italian flavors served by a wonderful team.

The hotel is set in a beautiful setting but about 1km down a long drive and a 300 Baht taxi ride from town. Service was exceptional - friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel was quite quiet when we stayed which made access to all the facilities easy.

The air conditioning whilst efficient was quite noisy - we turned it off at night - and really needs to be updated.

The view from our balcony was amazing. The hotel is a little outdated and you can tell that it’s been around for a long time. Staff were kind and fairly helpful. Location wise, it was a bit far from everything and you need a taxi or car to get around.

The prices of the bar drinks and restaurant were ridiculous. So so expensive for the area and it makes no sense as they would maintain more customers if their restaurant prices weren’t so bad.

The staff were very friendly and ready to help. There view was great.

The location on it's own beach was fantastic, the views of Koh Samed were beautiful. The restaurants and Bars were welcoming hover very very expensive for the quality and choice of food. We discovered better places to eat and drink only a short drive from the hotel. The rooms were very nice, simple and older in style, but clean and the staff were very helpful.

The Restaurants and bars were very pricey for the area. The property advertised a spa and when we tried to book we were told that it had closed down.
