Star Convention Hotel (Star Hotel)

Access to the gym the sauna and steam room

Great hotel price changes a lot each stay over all great hotel breakfast 10 out of 10

Breakfast and location

The location near the night market, supermarket. The room is big , the grand deluxe. The hallways are big too. Big parking lot. Breakfast buffet, a lot of choices (thai, western with big nutella spread)

Very nice breakfast buffet. Looks like an excellent gym, though I didn’t use it.

Night market was a disappointment.

Super clean and gives you old school vibes. Nothing I dislike about the hotel. Has a great gym with verity of equipment. I would come back again.

The room was huge. It has a sitting area and so much space to move around. The pool also was quite nice with comfortable lounge chairs both in sun and shade and the fitness room was the best I've ever seen in a hotel.

Really, nothing. I have no complaints.

Same feeling as last stayed 20 years ago, but price goes up.

Room very old.Facilities very Old.

live location because of the fresh market but quite , the staff are very kind and welcoming , very good breakfast with a lot of choices to choose from.

if you go out on foot in your way back you will have to climb the drive way to reach the hotel entrance , it's not comfortable for older people or one's with back or knees injuries.

- Clean, big size and compfortable rooms- friendly and helpful staff- location very central and next to the night market

Central located. Large room but a bit old.

On the second day we went to breakfast but we found almost nothing to eat. All the foods were gone by 8:45am.

Rooms were dirty, especially the bathroom. There was mould in the shower, hair in the basin and the toilet.Felt that the room had not been used for months. The coffee and sugar sachets were so hard you couldn’t use them. Called reception and said they would send new ones … never arrived. DONT stay here

Efficiency of staff for requests, very attentive, Location couldn't be any better with regards to markets, it really was just perfect, the gym was very impressive a little dated but still good, just needed some staff to tidy up the weights thats a pet peeve for me but best gym hotel I've ever had

I love the gym and swimming pool. Moo kra ta(pork bar b q) is 50 meters away. Hotel is near the night market , Lotus. good location

The toilet is strange but seems fine

Big spacious hotel, right beside night markets.

Very quiet location for those who liked to go to bars.

Great location, clean, good facilities and friendly staff.Located right in the mix of things. Markets, eateries etc. all within a short strole.

I don't remember being unhappy with anything. We really enjoyed our stay.Ahh, perhaps the bed was a little hard for me but that's a personal preference.

Excellent friendly staff spoke English very helpful and patient. Rooms are huge in reg, and deluxe .English TV channels comfy beds microwave in deluxe rooms Awsome gym and really nice pool deck ,right next to a huge Supermarket and IT center below bought 2 phones third the price of Canada ' street market outside hotel was Awsome and tonight Fri night another huge open air market location is great 15 mins to ban phi ferry- to kho samet lsland ' week days are around $50 cdn. But bit more on weekends Overall a hidden Jem is Rayong ' with absolutely everything you could need.

Ate in hotel reastraunt foods good and of course we tipped good service But small print on receipt said 10% gratuity included in bull' witch we felt was a bit cheeky " but hey it's Thailand and you can't eat and drink anywhere in our real world for the price so got over it pretty quickly.

Amazing place with full gym, pool, sauna and steam room. Walking distance to the bazaar market open daily. Room service was excellent, cleanliness was great and buffet breakfast every morning was super handy.

Old style grand hotel, excellent gym , good breakfast. Very helpful staff.

Nice clean big rooms, helpful staff, excellent room cleaners and a wonderful breakfast.Pool area was nice and a good gym.

No real complaints, the water in the shower was only luke warm would have liked it warmer but it did not really bother me.

The room was spacious and, though a little tired, presented great value for money. The hotel had good fitness facilities and the pool provided a pleasant place to cool off (once we found it!). Location was very conveniently close to shops and markets. Plenty of options for a satisfactory breakfast.

The bed was a bit hard, but the choice of pillows was good.
