Hotel Carlton is in the heart of Tunis, just over a quarter mile from the Medina. It provides 3-star accommodations, room service and free Wi-Fi. Pros +
- Excellent hotel in a good location.
- Staff was very friendly and accommodating to us on our trip (6 people in 4 rooms). Free breakfast as fantastic with a variety of French and Tunisian foods, as well as a crepe and omelet station available every morning on floor 1 (technically 2nd floor).
- The Staff was VERY aware of everyone who came in and out of the Hotel. They keep a watchful eye on people movements and made sure only paying guests had access to hotel accommodations and in-house services.
Cons -
- The A/C was not working in my room. Sadly, they were fully booked and I was not able to change rooms, but they were very apologetic about it. There is a currency exchange available at the front desk but they run out of TND early, so I had to use ATM.
- The current renovations did make it difficult to move in and out of the hallways accessing the Reception desk.
