Hotel Wiesental Nähe Friedrichshafen

This is not my first visit to this are of Germany. I chose the hotel because it was very close to my meeting location. I was not dissatisfied with my visit. I would use it again.

Overall it's OK. Clean and nice. I've seen some complains in the comments about construction works, they should've been finished as we had no any sign of it. The hotel looks like it was renewed recently. Room of a decent size, with a balcony. Free parking, easy access to the the rooms. There is an elevator.Breakfast was OK. Standard European buffet, not too fancy. Sometimes in Germany and Austria you have that touch of a good decent old-style Frühstück, here it was rather no-name hotel style but acceptable at its price.

Location is not the fanciest but OK. A bit close to the road but not too noisy. Might be a bit of a struggle to find a place to have dinner after 8 pm, all restaurants were closed but you can find some takeaway pizza or kebab so you won't die from hunger.

Fairly clean room with good bed and very good breakfast included. The host need to do the last finishing after a major renovation. Good value for money.

Noise during the night due to some compressor or the like next to the room.

Things the hotel could change: - wifi was not working at all,- the gravel parking outside was really loud and people were still arriving and parking after midnight and waking us up in the night,- balconies are not separated, so neighbours can walk in or by your room easily if they want to,- walls are thin so you can hear other people in other rooms all the time (children, loud people),- breakfast was very average/not tasty,- No AC, so the room temperature in August was always hot and we had to always have our windows open, which brings me to my next point:Things the hotel can/cannot change: - people smoking on the balconies so you get cigarette smell in your room easily (for non-smoking people it can be quite disgusting),- two guests had VERY loud intercourse at 3 am with windows wide open. I bet all the other guests could hear them as well since we all had to have our windows open due to no AC in the room. It was a very bad experience for both of us since it woke us up and left us disgusted (there were also many children in the hotel!). We had to sleep with our windows closed after that since they went on the balcony and had a loud chat for half an hour. If you are visiting in colder months, your experience might be better. If visiting in summer I would avoid this hotel until they fix/add some things.

Breakfast and Location was super.

The side parking was too noicy.. Reason was that floor of the parkplatz was crush..(small stones).

Breakfast was standard european breakfast, nothing fancy but not disappointing too. Room was just enough for a couple with a toddler. Balcony was a plus. Location was a big plus as it is quite close to Ravensburger spieleland, just around 7-8mins by car.

There was no coffee or tea in the room. No kettle in the room.

I liked the location, friendliness of the staff, size and condition of the rooms.

No dining options. There are not many restaurants nearby which are family friendly.

The breakfast was just fine. There was alot to choose from. The price is fair. The hotel was OK for spending one night. I would recommend it to anyone planing on staying longer.

The room have no refrigerator. The balcony is not excluded to the other balconies on the same floor. Its kind of like one long balcony for all the rooms on the floor. There was a problem with the elevator and the stairs are quite narrow.

Nothing.Really nothing.I wish I could add something positive, but I can't.Oh maybe, parking was free of charge, but spaces were limited, so you better hurry up. But that is really all.

The "economy" room was located in the cellar and the "windows" of the room was facing directly to a concrete wall. This room seemed to be the temporary home of some hotel associates who were on a vacation and their room was rented for few nights so the hotel owner can get some extra money.Room was dirty as well as the bed linen. The quality of the bed was also disappointing, cracking noise at every single movement or turn in the bed. Seemed to be a very low quality furniture, possibly the cheapest one. Lot of noise was coming from the corridor and the neighbouring rooms. Clearly could hear everything.No way to get proper sleep and to wake up relaxed in the morning.Breakfast with limited selection. Coffee was only american style, no option for espresso or cappuccino.

Location was good for us, pleased to see the property had a lift, as my wife is unable to manage more than a flight of stairs.Breakfast was brilliant with plenty of choice.

No tv reception, apparently all rooms affected by issues with the service provider.Although the hotel opened a few years ago, there are plenty of areas that have not been finished yet, most noticeable the rear of the building.

The rooms were clean. One room was good. The breakfast was available on time. The crib was available as needed.

The rooms were defective. The bathroom closet was defective in one room.The tv was not able to connect in one room. The breakfast was a very basic standard breakfast, for the price it was expected to be better.All rooms had different facilities like no.of chairs, tv connection etc. The balcony was under construction.

Clean, modern and helpful staff

gravel carpark at rear was deep and car got stuck. staff helped to get car moved from gravel.

Breakfast Bar was exceptional, the Rooms with table and cupboard were nice, also liked the Balcony with Chairs.

It appears that the hotel was under construction. Found it somewhat troubling that the fire doors to the stairs ways didn't have a safe distance towards the stairs. Not great when you have Luggage or similar in your hands.
