    Pros +

    • Lovely hotel with pool in great setting. Only 8 rooms and enough sunbeds.
    • location
    • Cool exterior and concept for a hotel, unfortunately the room we stayed in was not to standards and was tired, dirty and not too functional. We left early

    Cons -

    • The bath in the bathroom is lovely but not for older people.Rain shower over the bathtub and nowhere to hold onto.
    • This is an old hotel. The lobby has a strong mothball smell, and although the room is scented, a faint mothball odor remains. The facilities are old despite renovation. The sink faucet splashes water when turned on, the shower sprays in the wrong direction, and the refrigerator is very old and dirty.
    • There were a few things that I didn’t like about the property. The first thing was the smell of mothballs when you first come in to register to check in it was definitely not a pleasant smell on arrival. Next was the room. The room could use a few updates, but it was still a nice room in the bed was comfortable. There was such an awful smell of mold and mildew. It was so bad that we try not to spend too much time in the room. Furthermore, there was a smell of mildew also coming out of the air con, which probably means that it needs to be maintenanced. The other thing was the whole tub shower concept didn’t work for me. I come from a country where tubs are standard, but the way that this was constructed is very dangerous with the stairs. Also, there is a showerhead to only take a shower in the tub which the showerhead was not a good one and water went everywhere. This area with the tub is an accident waiting to happen. They’re also seem to be some kind of leak from the showerhead where the ceiling was turning green and very wet.

The property was nice and it gives you that Spanish villa style living. The room and the facilities were clean, and everything was within walking distance.

    Beautiful rooms and location

Wasn’t quite sure about the raised bath and shower, not suitable for older people

    Pool

Would you believe they charge for replacing tea bags, coffee, coffee mate sachets. Most hotels replace standard. So you pay if you want a teabag..unbelievable. Also, a bath which on large steps to get in, tiled floor,so no shower or easy access for shower, dangerous when floor wet. Someone didn't think of safety there, easy to slip, fall

It was perfect for our stay and we really enjoyed the privacy of the hotel. There are only 8 rooms so it doesn’t get crowded. Pool was amazing and open 24/7. Hotel staff was also 10/10, especially the reception and the guard.

The rooms are starting to show some aging but it was still a comfortable stay. The sewers sometimes smell in the bathroom.

The location is great. The price is good for what you get. Pool is very nice

    breakfast was basic but good

Lovely pool in front of your room

You need to indicate that your room needs cleaning. I would expect this to be included, especially in this price range. OK, towels and sheets shouldn’t be changed every day but trash cans f.e….

A beautiful swimming pool right outside the door, and friendly reception staff made this a memorable stay.

The design of the bathtub and shower, although innovative, were slippery death traps. I was scared to shower and slipped at least once.

    9ColinPosted on: 4-2-2024

Very helpful staff on reception, and a beautiful, swimmable pool that's open 24 hours!

The bath is raised on a platform and is VERY slippery. The design is poor for practical use and I slipped more than once.

Everything… it’s beautiful, the facilities are great and it’s in walking distance of everywhere I wanted to go..

Nothing it’s great although I am not sure how good the insulation is between rooms one night I had noisy neighbours and it did keep me awake but they only stayed a night so was all good

The place looked very beautiful and had a nice pool. The room was comfortable and looked nice.

I wouldn't call the room a villa but was still quiet nice, unfortunate the pool bar wasn't open but would be better off just having a fridge in there and using it yourself.

    Unfortunately not much really .

Very dangerous bath No patio of your own .garden area shared with smokers Very noisy during evening and well into the night

    7MariaPosted on: 1-9-2024

Very small and cost place. Staff is really friendly.Nice to have breakfast delivered to your room

It got wet all over the bathroom when showering with the rainfall. You can hear the neighbor in the same villa.

It's a wow little place, only 8 rooms, you are at some place very special.Great pool layout and amazing bathrooms. High ceiling rooms gives them a grand feel as does the decor.

    8EC_1Posted on: 9-2-2023

Comfortable bed, close distance to beach & FnB. Quiet environment. Nice bathtub.

    9LePosted on: 6-4-2023

We really enjoy the pool and the spacious room. The location is convenient for local food and market, 10 min walk to the beach and easy to reach by taxi.

There were just some noises on the roof (?) every morning during our 3-day stay. Yet the staff were really prompt to investigate and offer free mini bar for us when we complain.

    8PeterPosted on: 5-29-2023

pool but the spa was pretty weak no power in jets. quiet place and area secluded.

shower looked like an indoor spa in the photos but it’s not. and as an older man it is more of a task to get in and out and also it’s a bit slippery when wet. So this would suit the younger people. Bit of a hike to the beach.

Really nice room clean , spacious comfortable, quiet, great bath if you like a nice soak, nice pool that's open 24 hours, very very little to complain about.

I loved this room my only problem is the fact its so far away from everything and there are no motorbike taxis stationed nearby so you have to walk right up to the main road to try and grab one. Others may like the fact its out the way so that's not a complaint more my preference. If this place was closer to everything it would be my go to room everytime. The main shower head could do with some TLC it just needs taking down and a good clean as it sprays off in many directions. My main gripe would be no hot water in the taps on the sink. I know this is common in Thailand with cheaper rooms but this is not a cheaper room when I'm paying this much its somthing I do expect. Sorting that out would go a long way. If you have ever had to shave in Thailand and boil the kettle to get hot water into the sink you'll understand..
