Luna Hut Resort

The grounds were clean, the greenery pleasant and the lighting was very nice. Housekeeping every other day and they did a good job. Hot water when showering. The restaurant breakfast was good, a buffet, and a wide variety. The location wasn’t too far from the beach and there is a 7/11 nearby.

When I arrived at my “Villa”, I was shocked to see stains everywhere. The long desk in the room while dark brown was spotted with white stains everywhere. The bathroom shelving was originally white but yellow urine like stains were everywhere and the floor was dirty. So disgusting and the room was a nice size, but no end tables, just empty space. Your electronics definitely on the floor. There were patches on the walls everywhere. I wanted a different room and ended up with a smaller hut, even though the price remained the same. The crazy things no outlet in the bathroom, so I had to blow dry my hair next to my bed with no mirror. ??Also, I brought my service dog and the owners dog while on a leash, had not a human guiding the dog and it roamed everywhere around the grounds unattended. He was very aggressive and tried the bite my dog. Needless to say, I became very protective of my dog and it led to a few uncomfortable exchanges. The staff was quite okay with the dog’s behavior. Weird to put it mildly. There was a 2,000 baht charge for the dog (cash only) no receipt provided until I insisted. The money was returned without viewing the room or anything. The evening restaurant menu needs work, pizza and some Thai food but pretty limited. The new item on the dinner menu was Roasted Chicken, when I asked about the pieces, etc, he showed me a frozen piece of the thigh and leg attached. I ordered it….Not fresh and while just okay, it was extremely overpriced for the 490 bahts they were asking for the meal. There were potatoes in broth in a bowl and a salad that accompanied the frozen piece of chicken. When I was leaving a few employees that we never spoke during my stay walked up to me and asked where I was going. It wasn’t any of their business and I just responded I didn’t know.

Only scalding hot water in the shower. DONT brush your teeth with the tap water. It gave me Bangkok belly.

I like the environment, the rooms are good, we all like staying here.We love the swimming pool but maybe we came on winter so the water was a bit cold and we couldn't swim.Next time we will come on summer and let my kids enjoy the swimming pool.

Very clean bungalow. Great staff and facilities and would definitely stay here again.

It's clean, has parking and is easy to get to and very nice towels.

The water is luke warm at best, the bathroom lacks a flip top garbage near the toilet. We could hear the guests in the room above us. We were just there to sleep so it met our needs.

The rooms where very clean

I booked one room because in the listing they stated that I voted add a foldaway bed. I booked and requested the bed. The booking was non refundable. They sent me a email denying the extra bed. So I had to book an extra room because they had no more rooms that would a complete 3 people. Cost me money . They should not offer something they can't deliver on.

Some man sat at front desk outside with another man while working on a laptop comouter in the afternoons and evenings....speaking notably loud in a foriegn language, it was odd and annoying.

It was very clean. Has glass shower in the bathroom and it smells and looked very clean. Very helpful staff and willing to help.

Mosquitoes were in the room and it was hard to sleep or to get rid of them. Cleaners should spray for mossies when the finish cleaning and it would be perfect. The pool area was small but still nice enough for the price.

Value for money. Staff were always polite and helpful. Very near to 7-11 shops, restaurants and beach. I had booked a King Suite Room which had two rooms which was amazing for my two kids to play and move around. The resort is very beautiful and photos will not justify the beauty.

The paint on the furniture is poor quality. My Suncreen bottle spilled and the paint wore off due to the chemical in sunscreen. The hotel charged me 500 THB for that. Even a coin i kept there was stuck and showed some markings. The paint quality is very poor. Cleaning of room was not everyday. I had to request them to refill the shampoo and conditioner. The cleaning lady never cleans under the sofa. Under the sofa there is lots of dirt. Coffee and water is not provided everyday,

Nice place to stay , no additional fee for my pet , it’s just 300 meters to the beach .

Overall great stay, value for money. Would say the only two things which could be improved are the beds and maybe better mosquito nets to keep various flies and mosquitoes out. Unfortunately had a Portuguese/Jewish older man sitting and yelling most days at the main building during my stay. Which was quite annoying, plus he disturbed a few of my guests by approaching them. Which they found quite uncomfortable.

Large, spacious & clean!

No hot water in shower, no mosquito net & lot of mosquito in the room so have to burn mosquito coil!

The resort is very well-maintained and clean, with a very clean and comfortable pool. The staff was very friendly and polite. The bungalow I stayed in was perfect for a couple. The bed was very comfortable, the Smart TV was very large, the bathroom was clean, and the shower had good water pressure. Very close to the beach. Seven Eleven is 80 meters away, and there are many restaurants nearby. Definitely, if I return to Hua Hin, I would stay here without hesitation.

Good location near to the beach, 7eleven & plenty of local restaurants. Staff really friendly, always smiling & helpful when needed

On arrival there were a few issues with our apartment partly due to miscommunication and partly due to a couple of faults.This was resolved this next day and we were upgraded to a lovely hut at no extra cost.we were given free water and coffee every day the staff we a.azing and nothing was to much trouble.

Would have liked to be able to use the kitchen as it is just sitting there at the moment however this is because it has recently had new owners and they are in the process of upgrading.

The building... needs improvements and updates in the bathrooms and outdoor space (balcony)
