Hua Hin Grand Hotel and Plaza

Central Location. Staff helpfuö and friendly. Size of rooms pretty good

The Hotel ist a Bit aged. Only 2 elevators, often busy

Front Desk Staff excellent, restaurant staff also excellent. Security Guatd “A” excellent had my car transported to Hua Hin by truck he watched it as it was full of my belonging while I was a guest there at my request to do so. Have stayed at the Grand several times before will continue as necessary.

Room service was good tasting.

Cockroach in my room, bed was hard.

Staff were efficient and cheerful.Room was larger than I had expected which meant the air from the AC was circulated more adequately.I had a good sea view from my window and a hill view from the back.

Lack of vegetarian options at breakfast.

Everything went well.Very accommodating staff. Relatively close to everything we wanted, shops ,restaurant areas, transport.Thanks to the young man who solved our taxi hiccup.

Glitch in ordering of early morning taxi. Could have missed our train completely.

Room was great size and location was very convenient.

Room, bathroom and facilities quite dated.Gym very old and need total refurb.

Good position, welcoming , near all amenities, central to Hua Hin , breakfast was perfect.

Poor wifi on some phone, beds too hard but that is a personal choice ,

Easy walking distance to all nice nightlife, and restaurants.

Used Bart taxi cheap and excellent if you needed to go further a field .

Perfect location: 5min walk to the Market Village less than 15min to the Night market and 10min to the beach. Very good breakfast, very clean and extremely polite and helpful staff. Shuttle bus to and from the beach.

Noisy air conditioner

The hotel is in a great location, being a 10 minute walk from the railway station and the beach. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, a 7 Eleven at the end of the street with larger supermarkets 5 minutes away. The rooms are large and comfortable, with fabulous views. The shower is hot and powerful, good Wi-Fi and nice bedding. There is a massive pool which is well maintained with plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast has lots of choice and the coffee is good. Great staff.

The room was spacious and the location was great not far to walk to bars restaurants and shopping.

The shower head in the shower was fitted so it went straight over your head, ended up having to hold it. There was a lack of wall plugs near the bed.

The location was good the food was good

Didn't like the beds they were very uncomfortable that's why we left early than expected

The hotel was in an ideal location for the main night market , city center, and the villa market as well as the market village.

There is no beach front like Pattaya. The swimming pool was perfect though.

Ideal central location, well organised hotel, friendly and helpfull staff at all times..

Breakfast plentifull but not so tasty - cold fried eggs and tasteless ham/sausages...

The Hotel has charm and character as you walk in to a 80's Nostalgic Hotel witch a lot of dark wood furniture and an old fashioned bathtub in the room. There is a modern tv in the room though and even a small fridge. Bed super comfy. Staff is outstanding always offering a smile and a helping hand. The view from the upper floors are really good and there is a big swimming pool and plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast was good and you can order omelette by choice. Yes, I would definitely come back ?

The fitness room - my godness, it should have been closed long time ago. It desperately need an upgrade. However with a gym close by it's not the end of the world ;)

We were very happy with the room and the pool. The staff were always polite and welcoming.

Breakfast was decent but not exceptional. Staff were in a hurry to clear away at 10am prompt and although we were asked if we wanted anything else, we were still eating and were surprised to see the buffet being wheeled away whilst we were still there. More could perhaps be done to keep the food hot meanwhile.

The staff were very helpful we arrive early in the morning after a long travel day there were kind to let is check in at 10am without any plus fee Very thankful!

Little old but no issues

Location, parking, pool, value.Highlight: exceptional staff e.g. I cut myself shaving and the doorman (Khun Pradeep) spotted me trying to staunch the blood flow with tissue paper, quickly supplied a plaster. (Give him a bonus.)

Feedback on breakfast music: management should note that there are more than two Christmas carols. However much one enjoys ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’, having these alternate in a never-ending loop is just a tad better than drip torture. Staff were diligent in ensuring that guests were entertained (turning the music on) but management need a better music policy. Avoid excessive repeats, and use a little commentary sense: very few people will enjoy endless, day-after-day loops of two songs. Maybe solicit feedback: my guess is that many guests were irritated but too polite to comment. This is not a criticism of the person responsible for turning the music on. She worked very long hours on what I would imagine is a much lower wage than the manager responsible for the music torture.
