SO/ Sofitel Hua Hin Hotel

The rooms were large and unusual in a good way.

The hotel was under construction. The resort facilities are pretty much unusable. It is not in Hua Hin or even Cha Am but North Cha Am, very, very out of the way, especially since the construction made the hotel's facilities unusable.

Pool facilities, Wibit, wet bubble are so much fun for my kid.Biking lane and mini Golf are also interesting. We can stay in the resort all two days; there are so many kid activities.

The room is a bit old, especially the bath room. The beach is very small.

Property design is good

Here is pet friendly hotel as mentioned web site. But there is no room for good room for pet family when we requested.Meals especially Thai food disappointed

Big hotel with a lot of entertainment, especially for kids. Good territory and pools! Rooms are good and spacious. However light on our room worked very weirdly, not how you expect it should work)) Breakfast was good, other food in restaurants also very good.What it didn’t like is that our room was not prepared before our arrival. It was very hot inside, in the bathroom there was open soap and unwrapped towel… while the second room was good prepared.My view is that hotel is a bit overpriced.

Being charged over prices for food then asked to pay ++ on top of expenses food. Asked to pay 4000bat on top of the ridiculous price for what you get. Then the electric went out on our last night and nothing done about it. 4 nights at 360£ a night ridiculous. Not clean and full of birds that wake you up every morning at 04:30am. They say 5 starts I wouldn’t give them 3 stars.

The breakfast and food was good. Great activities for kids and areas to relax as adults. Rooms were much bigger than how they looked online, no camera tricks on photos.

There could have been more transport to the surrounding towns.

The breakfast and the restaurant are nice and clean. It offers a great breakfast with a lot of choices. The staff is excellent, polite, and helpful.

The hotel is somewhat outdated, being 10 years old, which shows in its wear and tear. The rooms are large and spacious, but the beds are uncomfortable and not suitable for a good night’s sleep. While there is a rain shower in the bathroom, be aware that if the hotel is fully booked, the water may turn cold. Additionally, keep in mind that locals often book this place from Friday to Sunday, which can lead to noisy and chaotic weekends with screaming kids and no way to relax.

Food was expensive, not a lot of restaurants outside the facility

The rooms are huge and very creatively decorated. There are endless things to do for/with kids. Staff is very nice and the food is very good.

There is a tiny beach- not great for swimming. And the hotel is very isolated. Without a car you will have to have all your meals at the hotel which isn’t cheap.

Playground and other facilities for kids.

No sand beach though it’s a beach front.

Overall it was good. We took a 2 bedroom villa with private pool it was amazing. I wish there is more muslim friendly food or continental dining.

My family has been to this place since the old name, this place always impressed me with its iconic design architecture and the environment. Moreover the best part is in the services and staffs. This is the place for family unforgettable memories.

Bed , mattress was bad , it is time to change . The room I stayed was 623 .

The staff was amazing. The room looked like designed by interior designer. It was also specious. The bed was super comfortable. All-in-all another level on 5-star hotel. We definitely coming back

We liked the concept. Loved the family activities and the area that you can ride and enjoy the space. The restaurant staff at breakfast were amazing! Very attentive and helpful. The spa was amazing and relaxing the treatment was first class.

The room furniture was dated. We booked the family room with the kids house. The reception on the kids tv was rubbish and could not chromecast. The picture for the room shows toys and a gaming console. These things are not in the kids room. You are better off paying less and having them on the bunks in the same room with you. The tea and coffee selection in the room is dismal and offering creamer powder style in a 5 stay resort is borderline offensive. Fresh milk would have been appreciated. Attention to detail such as 4 guests in the room and only 2 drinking glasses were missing. We have stayed at Sofitel in two other places in the world. This particular stay did not live up to our hopes.

There are many good facilities and I like the signature pool the most. Good for family activities. The staff were all very helpful and good especially the manager Pui.
